What are the characters favorite colors?
Ali: Maru loves the color brown. It's unusual because a lot of people don't like that color. Matsuko and Darque like black. Yo likes red and Ike loves purple. Revanna likes green and October likes blue.
Does Yo still have feelings for Matsuko? Even after everything that's happened?
Ali: Yes, of course she does. She is married to him. She still loves him to be around and she wants to keep him alive so she can feed off of his energy. She loves him for that. And pretty much only for that.
Does Maru like her job as being Neara?
Ali: Maru thinks that being Neara may be quite stressful, because a lot of vampires depend on you. But Maru does like her job as being a vampire. She is somewhat glad that all her relatives are dead because she never got along with anyone. So she sees it as her relatives dying as nor a gain or loss.
What's up with all of Yo's tattoos?
Ali: Since Yo is like, hard core, I thought that it would be necessary to give her some kind of toughness look to her. And the first thing that came to my mind was tattoo's all along her arms.
To your opinion, in order, who are the top three characters with the most secrets?
Ali: Matsuko is definitely number one for the most secrets. Then I would have to say Darque then Yo. Darque also had a pretty treacherous past. Yo is more, like, mysterious. I think that I would tie Yo and Ike for third place. Ike does have a few secrets that deal with Matsuko.
What is Ike really afraid of? He's a doctor. Isn't he used to seeing blood? And why go vegetarian?
Ali: Ike sees himself as a helper to the vampire race and nothing more. He has no problem with blood, but just large amounts get to him. He thinks of being a vampire as of being like a cannibal. He doesn't like the sound of that. And Ike has always been a vegetarian from birth. It was just how he was raised. Also, Ike's fangs are extremely dull due to no mortal slaying. His favorite food is salad! 3 The more and more mortal food he eats, the weaker and weaker he becomes. So by far, Ike is the weakest in the clan. And the more he eats mortal food, the more and more his life span is decreased. Although it is never really spoken of in the text, Ike is very, very afraid of cats. That was in the beginning story board, but that idea died.
What building is the vampire HQ located behind?
Ali: The vampire HQ is located behind and under a bakery in an alley. The bakery's front can be seen from the highway and the park, but the vampire HQ entrance is hidden in the shadows of the alley. Also, across from the door to HQ is a large dumpster.
Who do you think is the most liable to make the wrong decisions and end up dead?
Ali: In the beginning, it was October. But after her death, it was Darque. Both of them seemed kind of different and outgoing and always having a little rebellious bad side to them. PS: I think that the characters that are the most liable to make the right decisions would be Ike and Yo. Yo actually does have some common sense. And Ike, well of course Ike, he is one of the smartest vampires there. ALSO: Ike is still considered a vampire although he's never really slain a mortal or drank blood.
