Angel in the Brawl
Chapter 1: The Opening Ceremony
Pit was very nervous. He had been dreaming of joining the Super Smash Bros fighting Tournaments for a long time and now that he was in this year's tourney he wasn't sure if he had what it takes. This was the 30th tourney so he knew there would be a lot of newcomers. Including him. The last years of Smash Bros tourneys had been the Original 8 fighters who Master Hand handpicked for his martial arts fight. Then they had been joined by 4 more combatants. More and more fighters joined battle when master hand opened up a new set of tournaments called The Melee. Now Master Hand and his new counterpart Crazy Hand opened a new set of tourneys, The Brawl. Pit was of the first chosen to take part in this new set and he knew more would come.
Almost everything was dark as the Opening Ceremony began.
"LADIES AND GENTALMAN, BOYS AND GIRLS, MEN AND WOMEN OF ALL AGES, WELCOME TO THE 30TH ANNUAL SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BATTLE TOURNAMENT!" Master Hand's voice boomed over the mic. The lights flashed on and the audience of thousands was cheering and screaming for the combatants. "AS YOU ALL KNOW THIS IS THE BEGGING OF THE NEW TOURNAMENT SET, THE BRAWL! SO LETS GIVE IT UP FOR ALL THE FIGHTS WHO FOUGHT IN PREAVIOUS TOURNEYS! AND NOW LETS INTRODUCE OUR NEWCOMERS! 1ST OFF FROM THE DREAM LAND A KNIGHT WHO HAS BATTLED OUR FAVORITE PINK PUFF BALL MANY TIMES, GIVE IT UP FOR META KNIGHT!" The crowd roared for small round cape clad knight who stepped up "NEXT UP A SMALL MONKEY WHO IS BEST BUDDIES WITH OUR APE IN A TIE, DIDDY KONG" as the list went on pit got more nervous "all these fighters look great but will I be just as good?" Pit thought to himself. "AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE ANGEL FROM SKYWORLD AND CAPTIAN OF LADY PALATIANE'S GUARD, PIT!" Pit stepped forward and the crowd roared and cheered. Pit smiled and decided that he would win this tournament at all costs. It was 15 minutes when Master Hand gave out cards that told you your floor and room. Pit's was Floor 3 Room 7. He started towards the door when a man in a green tunic stopped him. "Bad idea." he said "Why" pit asked "Trust me once you've had experience with fan-girls you'll get why. I'm Link by the way." "Pitinetly but my friends call me Pit." He reapplied. "Okay pit. Well if we try to get to our rooms before everyone is gone, I guaranty you at least one stalker fan will follow you to your room. Then tell all her friends which room is yours, and before you know it you have a hand full stalker fan-girls following you around stealing your stuff trying to force you to love them." "Oh, yeah I'll stay." Pit said. They laughed and Link introduced Pit to some other Brawlers. After a while Pit asked Link "Who's that?" as he pointed at a figure clad in orange armor and an arm cannon. "That's Samus Aran a bounty hunter From a different universe" Link stated. "So what's his story?" Pit asked curiously. "SHE works for an organization known as the federation of galactic planets." Pit nodded as Link turned around to talk. Pit began walking towards her. "Hi, I'm Pit." he said "Samus" she responded. "How are you?" Pit asked. She simply shrugged and turned away. Pit felt a little awkward as they just stood in silence. "Cool suit." Pit said. "Cool wings" she said back. It was awkward for both of them now so pit decided to leave. "Okay bye." pit said as he walked away.
