Welcome to a special entry to my Legend of Zelda series: The Combat Sagas. Just a little something to keep you entertained while I work on my sequel, The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of Power.

For those of you who have completed said story, you know I love to write combat scenes. The Combat Sagas are merely simulations, a game of sorts, and are not included in my story's canon, as all battles are to the death. The available characters (for now) are as follows:

As the fights progress, you will "unlock" new characters and venues to use, and I will add them to the list. Here are the rules. There are Duels and Battles. Duels are one on one, two on one, two on two, etc. between the available characters. Battles are one to five characters on a team versus Ganondorf's Army: any mixture of Darknuts, Soldiers, Stalfos, and Moblins.
Think of it as a little game. A character set is chosen, say, a Duel with Link versus Miles. One of three things will happen. I will decide the winner and write the scene; or I will open a poll and allow the readers to choose the winner; or I will post the next battle and ask for endings, and whoever writes the most interesting kill will have decided the fate of the match.
For those of you wondering, yes, I will be writing some pre-combat story tidbits to lead into the battle, but they are not part of the story as a whole, just as Super Smash Bros isn't part of the main Zelda or Mario stories.
