RED VELVET DREAMS
She casts her spell soft
Upon the moss covered log
And there she lies down
Her red velvet smooth
The cardinal sings his song
And a Muse whispers
Hear I the whisper
Into the depths of me call
Wonder ceases not
What moves me not known
This song cannot be broken
Undone I am drawn
Her scent is not here
And longing draws me forward
Just give me the sight
Heaven and hell wait
As the heat within me grows
So does the pain
She calls out my name
And soon I am flying forth
As I claim the sky
Vision comes before
Thoughts laid out and spoken soft
Feel how passion grows
Where is my Dearheart
Drawn though I am weary still
Forward I must go
Uninhibited
Flying to forbidden heights
Finally I see
She is waiting there
Upon the bed verdant green
Red velvet I see
The wild roses grow
Scarlet petals shine bightly
They perfume the air
The sun sets westward
Crimson tinging every cloud
My breath fails to come
In heavy twilight
I have come here to her drawn
Waiting there she lies
My wings fold around
And covers the velvet the sweet
My heart beats the drum
Her finger traces
Upon my wing how gently
My talons flex tight
I watch the gentle
And flowing locks travel down
I bite at her neck
She drives my passion
And guides my face to velvet
Slowly I consume
My tongue wicked moves
To taste and to tantalize
Darting out and in
Rolling across her
Sencing need and her longing
I feel her quaking
Pulling me to her
Velvet walls envelop me
Walls never known fall
Slowly to her I
Move deliberate and strong
Love deeply and well
I strain for endless
And she begs me to complete
This act of passion
With silent roar comes
The fusing of our hearstrings
We mark each other
I with talon black
She with nails red clawing down
For others ruined
With gentlness comes
The rising of sun and day
Whispered dreams of hope
We are forever
Linked, we cannot be broken
Love forged desire
As the cardinal sings
A one-note song softly heard
We rise to depart
Dearheart sighs softly
I draw her into my arms
Fly to greet the day
Climb we high above
Her arms twine around my neck
Soaring renews vows
And to our abode
We glide and land and embrace
And in our bed climb
I love you whispered
By both as we drift asleep
To red velvet dreams
She casts her spell soft
Upon the moss covered log
And there she lies down
Her red velvet smooth
The cardinal sings his song
