Not Here With Me

This is a poem I wrote about what I have basically been through and I used poetry as a release. I didn't know which category to place it in so I put it in here. Thanks for reading and let me know what you think.

I am sat here all alone,

Thinking of you,

I just want pick up the phone,

Are you missing me too?

The first thing on my mind,

As I start my day,

Hoping I will find,

The perfect words to say.

To call you up to tell you,

I wish it hadn't ended this way,

We felt it was all we could do,

Have we wished our lives away?

As time slips past,

I think it is too late,

Days move so fast,

It was such a mistake.

I just want to tell you,

I still love you so,

Forget what we went through

Wish for another go.

You have moved on,

To a girl who is sweet,

It just feels so wrong,

That your not here with me.
