OK, I dont own anything. JK owns all
Just a story about the regular aftermath of his transformations.
He cowered in the corner of the long room. It was dark, cold. Someone opened a door, beaming light into the room. Bright, yellow, and unwanted by the occupancy of the room.
"Remus?"
He scurried to hide within himself.
"Remus?" A hand touched his shoulder, but was quickly swiped away.
"Lily don't" Another voice came from the door. Remus heard the scurrying of footsteps away. The door closed partly, and Remus felt the light edge away. He heard a sharp intake of breath, and voices from the other room.
"How can you let him do this to himself?" a woman's voice whispered, accusingly.
"Lily, he's always been like this. Every time… he's like this every time after his…you know…"
"'I've' never seen him like this."
"Well, it's never…It's never been this bad before. Oh the door is ope-" The door shut.
Remus shuddered. His cross-period truly never had been this bad before, and it just seemed to get worse as he slipped back into reality.
He quivered as he stood. His arms seemed to fall like a rag doll's as he walked to the door. His hands shook as they reached for the door handle. His left hand had a firm grip on the handle; his right pushed the door itself. As he walked into the light his hand swiftly went to his eyes, guarding them. The room he just left seemed very, very far away as he walked slowly into another.
"Hello Moony," Sirius Black's quieted voice spoke from the table. Remus looked at him pitifully.
"Hello Remus," A pretty red head said, leading him to a chair at the table. He sat, having no other choice, and watched Lily busy herself at the counter. She walked back moments later with a plate full of delicious smelling food, "There you are," She smiled at him sadly.
He looked at her, then the food, then back to her again, "Th-Thank…you." He said gruffly. Lily breathed deeply, holding in pity tears, then walked away. Remus looked back at the food, swallowing air before reaching timidly for the fork.
His hands were still shaking, as his right hand grabbed the fork firmly.
"The turkey is delicious in case you're wondering," Sirius's voice came again.
Remus breathed again, and then reached his other hand for the knife. The first bite was hell and heaven all at once. Lily was an amazing cook, but all He could taste was flem and spit in his mouth. He choked. He quickly, and solidly grabbed the glass of water infront of him. The liquid was a blessing, sending a cool sensation down his throat.
He blinked several times, and then opened his eyes again.
"Hey Remus," James voice, said happily, while sitting beside him.
"Hi-i James."
