Sam paced the room back and forth waiting for the pregnancy test to come in.
Jason caught her in his arms.
"Whatcha doing sweety?" He asked.
"Nothing" She said quickly.
"Noooo you're doing something!" Jason said.
"You're right! Im breathing." She said. Sam then had the sudden urge to puke. She gasped and quickly ran to the bathroom, grabbed the pregnancy test, stuffed it down her bra, and ran out of the apartment.
Sam made it safely to the front of the building before she puked in the bushes.
She pulled the test out from her shirt. Her heart stopped as she read the word 'pregnant'. A tear slipped from her eye as she wondered what to tell Jason. He would be coming to look for her any minute now. So she gathered her thoughts and drove to Kelly's to get some tea.
Sam was sipping on her tea when Carly walked through the doors. As soon as Carly saw Sam alone she was instantly curious.
"Where's your boyfriend?" Carly asked snickering.
"You should know after all you act like his mother." Sam shot back.
Sam soon realized the pregnancy test was sitting out in the open next to her tea. She dearly hoped that Carly didn't notice it.
"Hoping I wouldn't see that?" Carly asked her.
Sam just looked at her hands.
"Next time you shouldn't advertise it to the world." Carly said getting up from the table.
"Please don't tell him! If you're as good of a friend to him as you say then you'll let me tell him." Sam begged.
"Better tell him soon then" Carly told her. She then went to order her coffee.
Sam got up from her table and opened the doors. The warm summer air welcomed her to the outside. She got in her car and drove away listening to the song 'American Boy'.
She knocked on Jason's door quietly. He opened the door and greeted her with a soft kiss.
"Where did you run off to earlier?" Jason asked. They sat on the couch so they could talk better.
"I have to show you something." Sam said softly.
She dug the test out from her shirt. She handed it to him awaiting his response.
Jason's worried face soon turned into a loving smile. Sam relaxed a little bit.
"I love you Sam. We're going to have a great family together." Jason said.
"Together forever" Sam smiled. She reached over to take his hand but he pulled her into a loving kiss.
