I do not own Hetalia. This FanFic was a bit inspired by the game Harvest Moon. However none of the characters from Harvest Moon will show up ^_^ Arthur's Point Of View.
Farm Life
By waterrain
I decided that I needed to have a fresh start in my life and here I'm in the United States Of America looking at a Farm my grandmother left to me in her will. It looked to be in surprising good condition despite no one living there for years.
"Hello, I'm the Mayor and I welcome you here to Sky-Bell." A man said to me. I was a bit surprised that the Mayor of Sky-Bell decided to greet me, but then again maybe he is the type to greet new comers this way. I notice the Mayor has black hair to his mid back, dark blue eyes, and he is slightly tanned. He does not look like a old man, but the Mayor does not look young like a teen. I'm not the best at judging ages of people and it simply rude to ask someone's age when you hardly even know them.
"Thank you and my name is Arthur Kirkland." I commented to him. He nodded his head and gave me a polite smile.
"I hope you will enjoy the farm life, Arthur. Here is a shovel and a pack of strawberries to help you out." The man said calmly and I accepted them. To be honest I have no experience in farming, but I'm willing to give it a try. The Mayor walked away, I'm left with a shovel, and a pack of strawberries.
"Hey, Do you need a hoe?" A cheerful voice asked me.
"No, I do not desire a hoe." I replied calmly, my eyes are looking forward, and I'm not going to bother looking at the person that asked such a vulgar question.
"You really need one in order to-"
"No thank you. I'm not interested in any hoes."
",But-"
"I said no." I snapped at him and decided to turn to look at this persistent person that wants me to have a hoe for some bizarre reason. I'm a bit surprised that he looks so cute and innocent. I had thought he would be ugly for he was talking about hoes which is so vulgar and-
"Farmers need to have a hoe, sickle, and a watering can for their crops." He stated to me in a matter of a fact tone. His arms are crossed, those cheeks slightly puffed out in annoyance more than likely because I cut him off, and I'm embarrassed for I didn't think he meant the tool. "Anyway, I was just trying to be nice to you since you are the owner of this farm. What is your problem?"
"I'm sorry, but I thought when you said hoe that you meant the kind that is not a tool." I said in a low voice. His blue eyes appeared to be confused by my sentence for some reason, he was blinking at me, and then after a minute tilted his head to the right side.
"I don't get it for hoes are farming tools and hoes do not mean anything else, but I guess where ever you lived the word hoe meant something else. Anyway, My name is Alfred Jones and welcome to Sky-Bell!" Alfred said cheerfully and he hands me a hoe. "Arthur, You can have my old hoe for I'm going to be buying a new hoe."
"Alfred, How do you know my name?" I asked curiously for I never did tell Alfred my name. So how does he already know my name?
"Word travels around here fast. Later, Arthur. I have some heroic crops to harvest after I buy myself a new hoe!" He commented happily and I have to admit that Alfred has the most beautiful smile. Not to mention he has one nice looking arse.
