Severus Snape was not pleased.
Dumbledore had been staring at his ass at dinner and winking suggestively every time he asked Severus to pass him the butter.
Filch had invited him to his office to discuss how horrible students were these days, and Severus had agreed, eager to get his mind off Dumbledore's actions. Once he got there however, he was distressed to find exactly how often Filch's hand seemed "accidentally" find its way onto his person.
Severus left in rather a hurry.
As he walked to his office muttering obscenities about Hogwart's caretakers, he ran into Hogwart's alumnus Harry-Bloody-Potter. He glared at him, and reluctantly invited him into his office, tuning him out in the hopes of Potter getting annoyed and leaving quickly. He must have dozed off for a moment, because he was jerked back to reality by the sound of Potter saying something about "making amends for past behavior," with his hand distressingly high on Snape's inner thigh.
After throwing Potter out of his office, Severus decided that he could no longer cope with the day without the help of alcohol, and began the trek to his chambers.
As he muttered the password outside the door to his quarters, he made an unfortunate discovery.
Lucius Malfoy's voice was coming out from inside his rooms, and from the sounds of it, he had brought his idiotic boy-toy Bartemis Crouch Jr.
When he opened the door and found them waiting for him lying naked on a sheepskin rug in front of his fire, it was more than his already frayed nerves could bear. Severus burst into tears and ran from the room, running through the hallways until he ran literally ran into someone female.
He proceeded to grab said female and snog them wildly, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her with passion born of frustration. After a moment's stiff shock, the woman in his arms relaxed, and began to kiss back with equal fervor.
When he finally pulled back to take stock of the situation, and found himself looking into the pleasantly surprised eyes of the new Charms Apprentice, Hermione Granger, he smiled with relief.
It could have been so much worse.
