Melted Ice Cream.

A/N: So, I just wanted to experiment a little. And this is the result. It was a very random, last minute thought, by the way. Ryan and Taylor friendship, NOT as a couple.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.

She sat on her swing, running her hands through her newly-dyed hair. It was a rather unfortunate color. Turquoise. With pink highlights. Her mother had a fit when she saw it. Taylor didn't care. She couldn't wait to see what color Ryan had chosen.
It was juvenile to do dares. Especially when you're twenty-two and a recent graduate from Harvard. That was a fact that Taylor's older sister Raina often liked to point out. Did Taylor and Ryan care? Nope. Not at all.
"Nice hair, Tay. You really went bold with it this time. I give you props. However...I'm winning this one." Ryan clapped his hands, and pulled off his hat, exposing his hair. Dyed red, with yellow and purple spots, and a little tuft of hair in the front dyed bright blue.
"Oh. My. God. You look ridiculous." Taylor laughed, pointing at her best friend.
"I told you I'd win. It took me three hours to design this dye job. Tomorrow we'll go back and dye our hair back. Who did yours? I had Sharpay do mine." Ryan said, replacing the hat. "Gabriella." Taylor replied, still giggling. "Yeah, yeah, it's really friggin' hilarious." Ryan rolled his eyes, pushing the swing.
"Oooh! I just got A Walk To Remember and a carton of Ben and Jerry's!" Taylor squealed in a rather girlish manner. "Taylor. That's a total chick flick." Ryan blinked.
"And?" Taylor crossed her arms, giving him a look that said, 'You're watching it with me no matter what. Deal.'
"Oh, A Walk To Remember! I loooove that movie." Ryan pretended to be excited, and Taylor smiled.
"I knew you'd see it my way." she simpered.
"Oh, yeah. No PROBLEM. Hey...wait, didn't we set the ice cream this morning?! We were gonna have it for breakfast, but it was solid as a rock..." Ryan raised his eyebrows.
"I put it back, don't worry." Taylor exasperated.
"Good! There's nothing worse than melted ice cream."
"Except maybe your hair."
"Oh, McKessie. You've crossed a line, no ice cream for you!" Ryan glared, running into the house.
"Hey! I bought it!"
