Extinction

Don't be fooled, My story is not about a sweet little boy and his dog. It is about the genocide of the human race and the violence of war leaving only two humans to face it alone. Rating this M for profanity and gore.

"The amulet of light, and the crystal of darkness," he purred, "It is foretold that the two have a combined strength of an unstoppable force of destruction, but only will wield to its master,"

"A boy, with the heart of an animal and the spirit of the burning flame with a girl, as pure as the darkest of nights and as lovely as the moon itself, will return peace to the land when all seems lost," he stopped and turned the page,

"There names are to be Sol, the king of the sun, and Luna, the queen of the moon and together, they will rejuvenate the land when all seems lost,"

"Sol is supposedly raised with animals themselves, learning that even the most pitiful dog, can be a courageous king. Sol is said to have eyes of orange and the hair of an undying flame, and is to have superior strength as well as the ability to help others, no matter the cost. Luna however, was forged in the shadows of war and death and learns quickly that helping others, can only lead to her demise. Luna has the eyes of a glowing aura on a cool, spring's night and locks of golden in which resemble the color of the stars above. Along with her darling beauty, she has the ability to be extremely agile and can escape almost any trap. Not much else is known about the two, but rumor has it the two will oppose each other,"
