Saturday 4:39 A.M. The sun shone brightly through the window onto Hiei who was sitting on the windowsill watching the snow fall wrapped in a light pink fluffy blanket. He didn t notice his mate watching him. Kurama smiled watching his mate curled up by the window. Hiei, why are you up? Hiei waited for his mate to walk over to him before he spoke and when he did it was quiet. Yukki was crying. Hiei said looking down at the baby in his arms. Kurama smiled when he saw the little purple bundle in Hiei s arms. Why don t I take her and you can get some rest, hm? Kurama moved to take the little bundle from him, but Hiei pulled her closer to him. No, its ok, I'm not tired. Hiei said yawning. Kurama laughed a bit and Yukki started fussing and reached for Kurama who smiled. I think she knows something you do not. Hiei looked at his daughter. What could she know that I don't? Hiei asked Kurama looked at him shocked. Hiei, how long have you been up? Kurama asked worriedly. Hiei looked at the clock. Since yesterday. He answered grouchily. Hiei that is not good for you! You need to rest. I will take care of Yukki I promise. Hiei nodded and handed her to Kurama who put her in her crib, then turned to his mate who was still sitting on the windowsill. He walked over pushed Hiei forward and sat behind him.

Your afraid? Of what? He asked knowing he probably wouldn t get an answer. Hiei stood with the blanket still wrapped tightly around him. Of waking up and having all this be a dream! I'm afraid of waking up and being pregnant and alone without you or anyone to help me through it all. Hiei said tears forming in his eyes Kurama stood and wrapped Hiei in his arms, Hiei sobbed into Kurama s chest. Hiei, I promise you that you will never be alone I will always be here for you and so will our friends. Hiei I love both you and Yukki and nothing will ever change that! This isn t a dream, its real, ok. I'm real and so is Yukki. Everything will be here when you wake up, nothing will change I promise. So please get some rest so you can start ackting like you, alright? Kurama said whipeing his tears away Hiei nodded. I will try. He said climbing onto their bed. Kurama looked at the clock and sighed, there was no way he was going back to sleep now, so he walked to the kitchen to make some coffee.

Kurama was feeding the baby when he saw Hiei walk out of their room with the pink blanket still around him. Hello Hiei, did you sleep well? Kurama asked with a bright smile. Hiei nodded and walked over to the couch and sat next to Kurama, who had started to feed Yukki. I'm sorry. Hiei mumbled Kurama looked at Hiei. You re sorry? What for? He asked thinking about what Hiei had to apologize for. For the fit earlier, just forget it even happened ok. Hiei said shortly, Kurama smiled. Hiei you have nothing to apologize for, you just don t want to be alone. Hiei didn t argue just curled up next to his mate and watched A Princess For Christmas. "Why the hell do you like romance movie's?" Hiei asked sounding a bit more like himself Kurama smiled "Now there's the Hiei We all know!" Kurama said laughing Hiei glaired at him and carefully took the baby and finished feeding her
