Haruka stood on the edge of the bridge, his blue eyes glistening at the rushing water flowing underneath. "I will finally be free", he muttered as he unbuttoned his shirt, and soon he was wearing only his swimsuit. It's been a week since Rin beat him and swam out of his life permanently. He thought that he would be free of the guilt that has plagued him for so long only to be abandoned by the one that he tried to please. His hair flowed with the wind as the smell of the ocean surrounded him. He closed his eyes as it comforted him. Soon, a far out cry broke the silence "Haru!". Makoto came running behind him. "There has to be another way this isn't the answer!" His voiced cracked as tears flowed from his emerald eyes. Haru just stared unemotionally. "It's calling out to me, Makoto. Can't you hear it weeping?" Makoto wrapped him in a tight embrace. "You can't do this! I will help you! We will work through this together like we would always do! You've raised me from the dead before, now it's my turn!" Haruka intertwined his fingers with Makoto's. "I have no purpose here on land. I belong with the sea. See how she's reaching out her arms to me?" "The swim club needs you!" Makoto shouted in his ear. Haruka retaliated, "I'm the one who lost, remember? You guys will be better off without me." His eyes flickered towards the water again. "Do not worry about me. I will feel complete within the embrace of the waves." Upon saying this, he released himself from Makoto's grip. Makoto called out his name again, but his cries were deafened by the ocean's tempting call. Haruka closed his eyes as a single tear ran down his cheek. His feet leaped off the surface, and he flew towards his lover. "I'm home."
