Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer Jareau smiled softly as she slipped her key into her front door and made her way quietly to her bedroom after locking her gun away in the gun-safe behind the television in the sitting room. It had been a long day at the office where she worked as a media liaison for the Behavioural Analysis Unit; a branch of the FBI. She reasoned that about 50 cases must have crossed her desk that day, each case more gruesome than the previous. Despite the heavy volume, no case had demanded the team's immediate attention: however, the team would be flying to Wisconsin the following morning for a triple homicide case. For the night though, the team were allowed to go home to their own beds for a goodnight's sleep, ready to be at the airstrip for 9:30am the following morning. The team had all been briefed on the case before they left for the night, and all murmured their thanks when Unit Chief, Aaron Hotchner said that they wouldn't be leaving that night. JJ had stayed an extra half hour after everyone else had left; ensuring everything was ready for them to leave the following morning. Eventually though, she arrived home and she couldn't be any happier.

After sitting at her desk all day, well the most part of it, JJ was in pain with her back, and she was looking forward to asking her husband to give her a back massage. William LaMontagne Junior rarely gave anybody a back massage and that included his wife; but when he did they may as well have been professional. "Hey Will" JJ murmured quietly as she slipped into her bedroom that she shared with her husband "I'm home." She was disappointed however to see that he had already fallen asleep, fully clothed on their king-sized bed: it was quite clear by the way he was laying that he had intended to lay down on their bed, but wait for JJ to get home. Although disappointed that Will had fallen asleep, JJ couldn't complain too badly as it was rather late; instead she grabbed a nightshirt from the drawer and got herself ready for bed in the adjoining bathroom so as not to disturb him too much.

After changing her clothes and putting her dirty ones in the hamper, brushing her teeth and running a brush through her golden, silky locks, JJ made her way noiselessly back into the bedroom and got into bed next to Will. What she wasn't expecting however, as she carefully got under the covers, was for Will to wake up slightly and crawl under the covers with her. Wrapping his arms around her waist, Will pulled JJ towards him and closed his eyes once more. "I love you, Cher" he murmured before falling back to sleep.

Just a little drabble of JJ getting home from work. I'm going to leave it open as maybe I'll make it into a longer story one day. Who knows? Should I? Shouldn't I?
