A/N: This is a work in character perspective, as I feel it's something I need to develop on. I've chosen Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Maria, know that I have sinned
my transgressions are only just
toiling away with my God as a beacon
smiting those who would deny us.

I work in the Lord's merciful name
sweeping the waste of this land.
The penance must be tolled
for a truly monstrous man.

The gypsies and the beggars
the treacherous and the sick
There, they plead asylum
using the Devil's unholy tricks.

But God is a persistent man, Maria
their fate I will always pursue
the gypsy wretch will taste her sin
and reap all which is due.
