So I threw this together in all about.. two minutes. I was listening to Thank Goodness and the idea just popped into my head. I know it doesn't make sense with the actual scene in the musical, but I think it goes with the soundtrack. Enjoy!
"Do you hear that - water will melt her? People are so empty headed, they'll believe anything!"
"Fiyero!" The blonde called after him, but the man was already gone.
The Ozians had upset him.
Again.
She wondered why he was so protective over Elphaba. What did the green girl have that she didn't?
"Oh, thanks plenty dearest!" She said, a smile on her face. "He's gone to fetch me a refreshment. He's so thoughtful that way! That's why I couldn't be happier.."
She continued talking to the crowd with that same wide grin on her face, her eyes bright the whole time. But in the back of her mind, she couldn't get her mind off of Fiyero and Elphaba.
She glanced down at the ring on her finger.
He belonged to her... So why didn't it feel like it?
