Lightning face-palmed herself standing in her living room with a sense of regret hanging over her.

Hope giggled at the soldier. "Are you serious?" He asked looking at her expecting to be told she was jesting.

Lightning looked away from the boy standing in-front of her. her face bright red with embarrassment. "Yes..." She sighed.

Hope looked at her for a few moments before speaking. "I gotta admit, I never would have expected that from you."

Lightning's temper rose. "What does that mean?" She looked at him with the signature Farron death-glare (Yes, Serah was capable of "The Look" as Snow called it, as well.)

Hope stammered. "N..No, I..I just meant I've seen you kill behemoths single-handedly. It's just shocking to me that you don't know how to swim." He explained hoping not to get "The Farron Fist."

She sighed walking over to a couch on the other end of the room then sat on it crossing her arms and legs. "My parents died before they taught me, and I've always been too scared to learn myself." She explained her ego shrinking by the second.

Hope walked over to her. "I'll give you swimming lessons!" He blurted out.

Lightning scratched her head. Yeah, that's all I need, a kid teaching me how to swim. She thought to herself as her face blushed extremely red with embarrassment.

"Oh come on Light, it'll be fun." Hope grinned widely.

"No." Lightning replied.

"Come on Light, pwease?" Hope made his cutesy face.

Lightning looked up, "Ugh, fine." She finally agreed unable to resist Hopes puppy dog eyes.

"Hahaha, it's always hard for you to say no to me when I make that face." Hope replied grinning even more widely.

Lightning just responded by rolling her eyes. I regret this already...
