I have seen death in many forms. Long painful deaths, quick humane deaths and everything in between.
As King, I have ordered deaths. I have watched my own men die on battlefields, from sickness and disease.
I have witnessed the last breathes of people in their final hours after long and fulfilled lives, and babies, barely new to this world we have created.
I have held my own father and friends as they died in my arms, one by my own hands.
Some deaths were easy, most were hard and sad, especially for the ones left behind.
But until now, sitting here looking at you lying on your pyre, still beautiful in my eyes, did I know what dying felt like.
Because, you see, you took most of me with you when you left. Just an empty shell is left.
Wait for me love, I won't be long and we will live again as one.
