Just a little something to help my readers wait until I'm done writing my big fic (if I'm ever done) and to calm down my muse who hasn't been very cooperative lately.

Set in my Bathroom Series universe. Enjoy!

Myka looked at the caller ID on her phone and smiled. Lifting it to her ear she purred, "Hey sexy!"

A giggle filtered down the line, followed by a softly voiced, "Mama?"

Myka's smile grew larger. Tucking the phone closer, her tone softened as she answered, "Hey baby! How are you?"

"Mummy said I could talk to you on the phone!" Another giggle filled the line as the girl added, "And I even pushed the buttons!"

Pride filled her at the almost pre-schooler's words. Swallowing the sob that rose as she realized how fast her little girl was growing up, Myka enthused, "That's great, baby girl!"

Emma offered another brief giggle before her happiness disappeared, and she demanded, "When are you coming home? I miss you, and Oliver is mean to me."

Guilt slammed into Myka for leaving her daughter for so long, and sighing, she soothed, "Soon, I promise. Listen, may I talk to mummy for a second?"

The promise seemed to placate the child, and her tone nearly deafened Myka as Emma yelled, "Okay. Love you! ...MUM-MY!"

"I love you too!" Calling the words to the child and hoping she'd heard them, Myka waited for a moment before she heard her wife's voice on the phone.

"Darling?"

The cultured British tones sent a shiver through her, making her smile. Lowering her voice, she said, "Hey sexy! I miss you. All of you."

Helena's smile was evident in her voice as she returned, "We miss you too, darling! Where are you?"

"Still at the airport." Her annoyance at her situation colored Myka's words as she explained, "Our flight has been delayed; again. I'm afraid we'll have to either camp here for the night, or find a hotel room. I was just about to call you."

"Oh!" Helena's disappointment was evident as she added, "I was just calling you because Emma wanted to talk to you… and I had to tell you something. Do you remember those temporary tattoos that Lily gave me for Christmas?"

Narrowing her eyes in confusion, Myka replied, "Uh... yeah..."

"Well, I've put one somewhere on my body and I'm not telling you where." Helena's voice dropped into a Cheshire-cat purr as she urged, "So hurry back home... Have a good night darling!"

Myka hung up the phone and walked to where Pete was still talking to his wife. Grabbing his arm and forcing him to meet her eyes, she declared, "We're going home. Now!"
