I have absolutely nothing to say...

Pairing: SilverXKnuckles (Friendship...or yaoi if you want it to be...)

Summary: Uninvitedly, Silver helps Knuckles guard the Master Emerald.

"I don't get it." A silver hedgehog said, he scratched his head.

Knuckles growled, "I sit here and guard the Master Emerald. What don't you get!?" The red echidna told him impatiently. Silver the Hedgehog stood in front of Knuckles. Knuckles was seated, his back against the giant green emerald.

"No. That's not why I don't get it." Silver said, calmly. He turned his back to the infuriated echidna. "What I don't get it why you can't ever leave this island." Silver said, he put his hand on his hip and looked at the peaceful, floating island before him.

Again, Knuckles growled and said, "I can leave this island, I just don't! Now leave my island before I make you." Knuckles threatened.

"Why?" Silver asked, curiously.

"Because I'll beat the living crap out of you if you don't leave!" Knuckles yelled out, a vein was visible on his neck as he shouted.

Silver turned to the angry echidna and said, "No. I meant, why you don't want to leave this place." Knuckles seemed to calm down a bit and his vein on his neck disappeared. That was a good sign.

"Because if I leave, then the intruders will try to steal the Master Emerald." Knuckles explained, he now stood up and rubbed the giant emerald. The emerald shone a bright green color. "This emerald can not get into the wrong hands. Who knows what will happen if it does?"

Silver frowned and said, "I now understand, but don't you ever want to...get out?"

Knuckles raised his brow, "Get out?" He asked, confused.

"You know, don't you want to go to Twinkle Park or see a movie at the movie theaters or something?" Silver said, he smiled as he watched Knuckles smirk only for a quick second.

"Yeah, I guess I do, but I have a duty to fulfill." Knuckles answered, he sat back down and leaned back onto the emerald. "Now leave my island." Knuckles commanded, he closed his eyes and simply waved his hand in the air, indicating Silver to leave. Suddenly, Knuckles felt a presence beside him. His eyes flew open and he glared at the gray hedgehog.

"What do you think you're doing?! Didn't I tell you to leave?" Knuckles yelled out, roughly. His violet eyes still glaring at Silver.

"Well, you seem kind of lonely, so I decided that I'll guard the Master Emerald with you." Silver said, cheerfully.

Knuckles growled, "I like being alone!" Knuckles yelled out to him, teeth bared. Silver waved his hand in the air, simply mimicking Knuckles, and leaned back against the emerald.

"Hey, you naive little twit, I said get out of here!" The frustrated echidna yelled out, he stood in front of Silver, glared at him, and his teeth still bared.

"Oh come on Knuckles, just let me guard this thing with you, will ya?" Silver said in a laid back manner. Knuckles rolled his eyes and sat back down, his eyes still glaring at him. Suddenly, Knuckles pointed at Silver with his spiked fist. Silver's eyes fluttered open, he was almost shocked at his spiked knuckles was near his eye.

"You do something funny, and you're out of here." Knuckles threatened. "Got it?" Silver quickly nodded his head. The hedgehog then smiled and continued to relax. The red echidna smiled to himself.

'Maybe this isn't going to be so bad.'
