Author's Note: I don't own One Piece. Takes place before the Time-Skip. This is written for the FanFiction High-School Never Ends (BIG challenge).
Luffy sat on a rock on the beach of the small island that his crew had stopped at. Robin sat on a different rock, reading a book. Nami was doing the same. Sanji was fishing. Chopper was reading a medical book, while sitting on the weights Zoro was lifting. Usopp was shooting coconuts out of trees, which is what inspired Luffy's genius idea.
Luffy was the one to break the silence, "We should play volleyball!" The rest of his crew looked at him like he was insane, which wasn't a new thing. Luffy grinned, "Me and Robin can pick teams! And that can be the net!" Luffy gestured to a wide bush. The rest of his crew sighed and decided to go along with their captain's idea, since they didn't have anything better to do. Luffy grinned, "I pick Zoro!"
Robin smiled, "Nami."
"Sanji."
"Chopper."
Luffy grinned, "So I get Usopp!" Robin nodded, as she went to her side, followed with her two teammates.
Nami grabbed a coconut to serve. She silently cursed to herself about how painful it had been to hit the coconut. Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro all smashed the coconut down at the same time, causing the coconut to shatter in pieces. Usopp stared at them with his mouth wide open, "You didn't have to kill it!"
Robin grinned, "Good game, Captain!"
Luffy smiled, "We won! Good job, team!"
Nami decided to try to keep another game from starting, "The sky's cleared up, I think we can head out now…"
Luffy jumped up, and raced to the ship, "What are we waiting for then? Let's go!"
