Me: Hi everyone!
Hilbert: Didn't you already finish this story
Me: I'm going to add more to the story, and I wanted to change the battle, I'm introducing a new character, and a new OC shipping called PinkBlueshipping.
Hilbert: What's the point of that?
Me: There were some parts that I didn't either like very well or didn't explain very well, then battle could've been better, plus you and I can't always have the stoplight.
Hilbert: Why not? Everybody loves me. After all I am the champion.
Me: Need I remind you that I beat you in the battle.
Anne/Bianca: Boys stop fighting!
Me: What? He started it.
Hilbert: Did not.
Me: Did too.
(Continues fighting)
Anne: Bianca can you do the disclaimer?
Bianca: W. R. Winters does not own Pokémon.

Bianca watched as her boyfriend paced back and forth. "Hilbert, you've won several battles and have kept your position for three years. What makes this battle any different?"
Hilbert turned toward her. "This battle is different. You and I both know that Wolf is no pushover. Unlike all those overconfident beginners I've beaten" Bianca didn't want to say it, but she knew he was right, "Plus, I don't know what Pokémon he has."
Bianca tried to come up with someone to give him a little confidence, "But what about his Braviary Screech, and the other Pokémon he used on the Elite Four?"
Hilbert shook his head, "This is a three on three battle, and if Wolf knows even a little bit of strategy. It's likely that he won't use him or the others, therefore giving him the element of surprise." Hilbert sat on a nearby loveseat and put his head in his hands.
Bianca walked over and sat next to him. She took his hand into hers and stared into his brown eyes, "It doesn't matter if you win or lose if you have the advantage or not, just go out there and show why you're the champ."
Hilbert gave Bianca a small smile, "Thanks Bianca." He leaned in and gave her a kiss on her lips. Bianca wrapped her arms around Hilbert's neck and deepened the kiss.
"Hate to break up your little moment here, but it's time for you to get to the arena." Hilbert and Bianca separated to see the call guy, with Wolf standing behind him with a teasing smile on his face.
Bianca kissed Hilbert's cheek. "Make Wolf howl out there." Hilbert chuckled at the comment and left the room.

A few minutes earlier in a room in the opposite side of the stadium, Wolf was waiting for them to call him. On the couch on the opposite side of the room were two of his best friends. The first being a boy that looked a year or two older than Wolf, his name was Ace. Like Wolf, Ace was a powerful Pokémon trainer. He stood an inch or two taller than Wolf his hair was the color of dark chocolate. He had dark brown eyes and changed to hazel depending on the angle of light, and over his eyes were a pair of square black glasses. He was wearing a dark green shirt that had a Hydreigon roaring on the front, dark blue jeans and white sneakers.
Next to him was Wolf's older sister, and Ace's girlfriend Anne, but everyone except Wolf and Ace called her Anne. Anne was the same age as Bianca. With long dark brown hair that reached the middle of her back with the ends of it dyed pink. Like Ace she had pale skin and dark brown eyes to match her hair. She was wearing a pink shirt with the white silhouette of an Altaria designed onto it, over it she wore a pink sweatshirt, and she was also wearing jeans and tan boots. Curled up in her lap sleeping was her Skitty Bubblegum.
"Are you sure you don't want to barrow Carrie?" Ace asked for the fiftieth time that day. Carries was Ace's most powerful Pokémon, a Hydreigon.
Wolf rolled his eyes, "For the last time, no! I want to win this myself." Wolf put on a hurt look, "Are you saying I don't have what it takes to do this myself?"
Anne's (AN: Just a note here, Anne and Anne are the same person. Just in case you didn't catch that) eyes widened and immediately tried to defend her boyfriend, "Of course not!" Wolf was slightly surprised by her outburst that also woke Bubblegum up and she jumped down from her lap, "Why on Poke Earth would you think that?!"
Wolf shrugged, "Because I like to mess with people." He smirked at their shocked expressions and burst out laughing.
Ace narrowed his eyes realizing it was a joke, "How do you do that?" He asked incredulously, "I just don't understand it."
Wolf smirked, "It helps if your audience is gullible." Anne giggled at his joke, and when Ace heard that he lunged at him.
Ace tried to punch him, but before his fist could make contact. Wolf grabbed his fist, side stepped to the right and using the momentum of Ace's body, he twisted his arm until it was behind his back at a very painful angle.
"Okay I give," Ace said as his arm burned with pain and Wolf released him, "I swear you can be as troublesome as a Zoroark and at the same time as powerful as one too."
"Thank you for your praise." Wolf gave an exaggerated bow.
Ace grumbled, "I never said it was a compliment." Wolf only chuckled and crouched down and started playing with Bubblegum.
"Wolf Winters?" All three of them turned to see the call guy, "We're ready for you."
"Be right there." Wolf turned to his two friends, "Wish me luck."
Ace clapped Wolf on the back and Anne gave him a hug, "Show them what you can do little bro." Anne whispered into his ear.
When Wolf broke away from the hug he left with the call guy, "Have fun you two." He said as he turned a corner, but a few seconds later his head reappeared, "But not too much fun." Ace glared at him and he snickered and their expressions and he disappeared once again.
Ace turned to Anne, "How do you put up with him?" Anne eyed him curiously, "I mean, he just can't seem to go three minutes without doing something that is considered an extreme annoyance?!"
"You're too much like Hilbert for your own good." She replied rolling her eyes. "You and Hilbert give reactions that are easy to counteract, and plus it's cute the way you react."
Ace smiled and leaned closer, "If I'm so much like Hilbert." His face was only a few inches from Anne's when he whispered, "Then you're my Bianca." And he closed the distance between them with a gentle kiss, which Anne returned.
When Anne broke away she pointed out, "Also he did bring us together. So you can't be entirely mad at hm."
"Okay you got me," Ace admitted, "Come on, we need to get to our seats." And Ace left the room and headed toward the bleachers. Anne was about to follow him he she felt something scratching her leg. She looked down and saw Bubblegum asking to be picked up. She happily obliged and left to catch up with Ace.

After a bit of walking, Hilbert and Wolf were in a waiting room until it was time for the battle. The room was about the size of a hotel room with a few chairs and a PC in the corner.
After a bit of an awkward silence Wolf finally spoke, "So, how are things with you and Bianca?"
Hilbert looked at Wolf with a bit of a glare, "Why do you want to know?"
Wolf put up his hands in defense, "Don't get angry with me." After Hilbert's glare cooled down, Wolf put his hands down and shrugged, "I don't know. I guess that since you guys have been together for a few years now. I was guessing that your relationship would be at a different level by now."
Hilbert gave Wolf a weird look, "Two things. What's wrong with my relationship? Second, you do realize how that could be interpreted right?"
Wolf thought about what he said, and then his eyes widened, "I didn't mean it like that!" Hilbert chuckled, "It's just with the relationship you've got going, I would've expected you to 'pop the question' if you know what I mean." Wolf meant it to be a joke, but when he saw the look on Hilbert's face, his jaw nearly dropped, "No way!"
Hilbert nodded at him, "I made the decision months ago."
Wolf gave him a huge smile, "Well congratulations," His smile turned into a look of confusion, "but if you made the decision months ago. What's stopping you?"
"Being the champion," Wolf gave him a look that told him he needed to explain what he was referring to better. "Every time I want some alone time with Bianca, the league calls saying I have a challenger, I have a press conference, or the Pokémon League has a meeting I have to be at."
"Why don't you just lose?" Wolf suggested
"Think I haven't thought of that!" Hilbert said in an exasperated tone, "I would, but I need to make it believable. Every challenger I've had is just some amateur I can beat in my sleep." Hilbert sank down in his chair and buried his head into his hands.
Wolf looked at his friend with concern. Then a determined expression grew on his face.
Hilbert looked up to see Wolf at the PC, "What are you doing?"
Wolf looked over at Hilbert, "You're going to lose to me, and you won't have to fake it,"
Hilbert got confused, "Okay, but why are you at the PC?"
"I didn't use my best Pokémon to beat the League." Hilbert looked at him in surprise, because he beat the league without any of his Pokémon fainting. "Can you tell the announcer to change what kind of battle we're about to have?"
"Yeah why?" Hilbert saw wolf take six pokeballs from the machine, and send five of the one he previously had back.
"We're about to make history Hillbilly," Hilbert growled in annoyance at the mention of his old nickname. "Call the announcer."
Hilbert took out his Xtransceiver. Hilbert asked Wolf what he wanted him to say, but nearly dropped it out of shock when he heard it. In a cool, calm, and surprisingly serious voice, he said, "I want you to tell him, 'I want to have a seven round battle."
*x*x*
Bianca pushed her way through the crowd before finding her seat. She sat down and looked down at the battleground, waiting for the two trainers to come out. "Bianca?" asked a voice behind her.
Bianca turned around and saw Anne and a boy she'd never met before, "Anne!" Bianca ran over and gave her a bone crushing hug.
"It's nice to see you too, but can you let me breathe a little?" Anne said with a strained voice.
"Oh, sorry." Bianca released Anne, "I haven't seen you for a while. How have you been? What are you doing here? Who this boy you're with?" Her eyes fell on the pink Pokémon in her arms, "And who is this little cutie?"
Bianca kept asking questions until Anne interrupted her, "Whoa slow down! To answer to your question, I'm fine, and we're here to support Wolf."
"Okay, but who is this?" Bianca gestured to the boy next to her.
"This is my boyfriend, Ace." Anne said while hugging one of his arms.
Bianca nodded and pointed to Bubblegum, "And this is?"
"This is Bubblegum my Skitty." She answered. Before Bianca could question her further, the lights of the stadium came on. Then the announcer came online, and they took their seats.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, right here in the battlefield in front of me is the Champion of Unova and a challenger. After keeping his title for three years, a challenger has finally beaten the league and challenged our undefeated champ for his title. I give you, Hilbert Black and Wolf Winters."
The doors opened and the Wolf and Hilbert walked into the battlefield welcomed by the loud cheers of the spectators. They walked to their trainer stands and looked at each other, on the jumbotron above them, it split-screened to show the faces of Wolf and Hilbert. In Hilbert's brown eyes lit with a confident fire. With Wolf's ice blue eyes harboring an icy glare.
"Wolf, you may have won the Unova League, but you're going down!" Hilbert shouted to Wolf.
Wolf only smirked, "Bring it on! Hillbilly!" he said with a taunting tone.
Anne and Bianca both had different reactions to the taunt. Bianca looked surprised, while Anne was trying her best to hold back her giggles, and Ace smirked knowing he now had a new way to annoy Hilbert.
The announcer spoke into his microphone. "Okay, this is a three on thr- wait a minute." Everyone except for Wolf and Hilbert was confused, "There has been a change on the type of battle. I don't believe it. Our champion has requested this to be the first seven round match in all Pokémon history!" The audience was sent into complete shock. The announcer was the first to come out of it, "I guess this is a seven round battle with no substitutions. Trainers send out your first Pokémon! The first trainer to win four rounds will be Unova's new Pokémon League Champion."
The girls looked at the battlefield in shock. Bianca shock was replaced with looked excited and determined, "Hilbert's going to crush Wolf in this battle."
Anne shock disappeared and looked over at the bubbly blonde, "Really? Does Hilbert even know what Pokémon Wolf has on his team? He might surprise him."
Bianca turned towards her, "Don't be ridiculous Anne, of course he does!" Anne raised an eyebrow. Bianca sighed, "Okay so he only knows about his Braviary, but it doesn't matter Anne. Hilbert's going to win this. I'm sure of it!" a questioning look came onto her face, "Wait, do you know what Pokémon he has?"
Anne thought for a moment. "No I don't." she admitted, "Wolf's been training a long time for this. If he doesn't win, he'll definitely give Hilbert the battle of his life."
Ace smirked, "I know what Pokémon he has." Anne and Bianca both opened their mouths to answer, but Ace held up his hand and continued, "His most powerful Pokémon are a jealously guarded secret. So I'm lucky to even know a few of them."
Bianca was about to answer, but Wolf's cool yet powerful voice interrupted her, "Stark, show them your power!" and Wolf threw a pokeball releasing a confident looking Infernape.
Hilbert looked slightly impressed at the sight of the fire-type Pokémon, but quickly shook it off and threw his own Pokémon, "Samurott, its show time!"
"Let the battle of Stark vs. Samurott begin!"
"Samurott, aqua jet into aqua tail," With Hilbert's words, Samurott water formed around the water type's feet, and he shot off like a bullet towards Stark.
"Stark turn around and heat the air behind you," Stark turned around and the fur on his back glowed with a fiery red sending pulses of heat toward the oncoming water-type causing him to sweat a little. Samurott was almost 6ft away when Wolf commanded, "Now use Thunder Punch, and stop that attack before it comes near you." An aura of electricity crackled in Stark's fist and right when Samurott was about to hit, Stark whipped around and punched Samurott right in the face with his electrified fist with a burst of speed.
Hilbert's amazement was replaced by horror as he saw his starter fly across the battlefield and strait into a rock wall. "Come on Samurott get up," Samurott got up, but groaned and struggled a bit. "Atta boy, now let's finish this oversized chimp with Hydro Cannon." Smaurott's eyes glowed and a vortex of water started forming in front of his whiskered snout.
Stark's eyes narrowed along with Wolf's. Both sets of eyes glowing with a vengeful fire, "Stark," Wolf's voice was calm, but the low almost whisper of it caused most of the audience members to be a little scared of the albino. "He just called you am 'oversized chimp'."
Stark nodded. "Are you going to let him get away with that?" Stark shook his head and from his mouth came an extremely loud and angry screech accompanied by a jet of burning hot flames. Wolf nodded, "I agree, so why don't we show him just how powerful you are." A smirk grew on Stark's face. "Wait until Samurott releases his attack… then charge it full on with Flare Blitz!"
The audience gasped and started mumbling phrased like, "Is he nuts?", "What kind of a trainer is he?" and, "How is he so calm and confident yet scary at the same time?"
Ace seemed to be on the edge of his seat constantly rubbing his palms together in anticipation with a very excited smile on his face. You'd think he had front row seats to the Super Bowl at the fifty-yard mark.
Bianca leaned over to Anne, "Exactly how crazy is Wolf?" she whispered.
"I don't really know." Anne whispered back, "He always seems to raise the bar on his maximum every time I see him." They both turned their attention Ace. "What do you think Ace?" Anne asked him.
Without taking his eyes of the field he said, "I could care less how crazy Wolf is! This is going to be the greatest battle I've ever seen in my life." Anne and Bianca turned their attention back to the battle.
A golden shimmer started in the middle of Stark's chest and spread out as the glow got stronger. "INN!" He started has the glow covered his chest. "FEEERRRRR!" The glow covered most of his body. "NAAAAAAPE!" Stark's entire being now looked like it was solid gold with light shining off of it, his eyes now looking like red hot coals burning inside his head. The flame on his head now burned with a white and gold intensity.
Samurott's vortex now looked like a giant swirling cannonball. "FIRE!" Hilbert shouted and the cannonball of water was blasted towards Stark.
"Charge it, no holding back." Wolf said in his calm, yet scary voice. Stark nodded, jumped into the air, rolled into a ball that started to spin, and with a burst of speed, the ball burst into flames and rocketed towards the cannonball of water that was quickly approaching.
The audience watched as Stark charged toward the oncoming water attack. When the water attack connected with Stark, some of the of water evaporated on impact and the rest of the water dispersed and soaked most of the battle field and a few of the audience members, but Stark kept on charging without losing an ounce of his speed and smashed into Samurott causing a huge cloud of dust to surround them.
When the dust cleared, it revealed Stark standing over Samurott with swirls in his eyes. "Samurott is unable to battle, so this round goes to Stark." The audience was in stunned silence before erupting into cheers.
"Return," Both trainers said in unison as they called back their Pokémon.
Hilbert looked at his white haired friend, "Impressive I'll admit, but it's not wise to send your most powerful first."
Wolf smirked, "I know. I didn't. Stark's pretty strong, but not the strongest I have with me."
Hilbert tried not to look worried, "Well neither did I. Go Braviary!" Hilbert threw another ball and released the powerful bird Pokémon.
Wolf looked at the large bird, "Not as big as mine, but he isn't your average Braviary." Wolf thought for a minute before drawing his own pokeball, "This guy has been itching for a battle for a long time. Whiplash, I've found you a worthy opponent." He opened the pokeball and released a Mienshao.
Hilbert looked unfazed by his choice, "You may have the advantage, but don't underestimate him." Braviary nodded, "Let's finish this quickly, and use Brave Bird!" Braviary feathers glowed before erupting in golden flames, then he toke off into the air reaching an incredibly high altitude before diving at blinding speed.
"Whiplash, do you remember that training session I put you through as a Mienfoo?" Whiplash nodded, "Then this should be easy, put all your focus into your Hidden Power and begin charging it." The Martial Art Pokémon's whip-like sleeves started to grow a light blue.
Hilbert seeing what type Hidden Power was he shouted, "Braviary look out!" but it was too late, Braviary collided with Whiplash right when he released his attack, resulting in a huge explosion of golden flame and small ice crystals.
When the battle field cleared, it revealed Braviary and Whiplash, both in looking close to fainting. Hilbert looked relieved until Braviary crumpled to the ground with swirls in his eyes. "How?"
Wolf's trademark smirk grew on his face as he recalled Whiplash, "Brave Bird is a powerful move, but it has one flaw. If successfully hit, it does recoil damage to the user." Hilbert swore under his breath as he recalled Braviary.
The announcer's voice came out through the speakers, "Looks like Braviary is unable to battle so this round goes to Wolf and his Whiplash!" The stadium once again erupted into cheers.
Bianca had a worried expression on his face, and Anne had a surprised expression. "I had no idea Wolf was this strong." Bianca said turning to Anne, "Did you?" she asked.
Coming out of her daze, Anne turned to Bianca and shook her head, "No, I didn't. Hilbert is an amazing trainer. Wolf along with everyone else in Unova knows it; his team is very well trained and incredibly powerful." Anne shook her head in amazement, "but Wolf's team is something else. Samurott and Braviary are two of top three most powerful, and Wolf beat both of them. Even with the type disadvantage."
Ace smiled with pride, "I taught him everything he knows."
Bianca was really worried; it's always been Hilbert's dream to be the champion. I don't know what he's going to do if he loses.' She looked from Anne and her boyfriend to the Jumbotron which showed both trainers faces. Hilbert's on the left side and Wolf's on the right side.
Hilbert's face showed annoyance, "Okay that's it! No holding back!" he removed a pokeball from his belt, looked at it and threw it releasing the Pokémon inside, "Zeph, I choose you!" the feathered fossil Pokémon Archeops let out an angry screech feeling his trainers anger after being released from confinement.
Wolf raised his eyebrows at the sight of Hilbert and Zeph, "It's obvious that Zeph may not be your strongest, but you have the biggest bond with him. I mean you even nicknamed him." Wolf noticed a black scarf wrapped around Zeph's neck, "I'm guessing that scarf was a gift from Bianca. Zeph am I right?"(A.N if anybody gets the reference, tell me your guess and you may win a prize). Zeph nodded "Well then, it makes sense that you should fight with my most bonded Pokémon."
He reached for a charm hanging from a chain wrapping around his neck. When the cameras zoomed in on it, it showed a triangle shaped piece of gold with three hollowed holes in it, each containing a shrunken pokeball, each a different color. The top looked like it was made of gold with a sapphire button, the pokeball in the right corner colored pure white, and the pokeball in the left corner held a pokeball that looked like it was made from shining silver with an emerald button, and in the center of the gold triangle was small diamond.
Wolf's finger pressed the diamond and the pokeballs slid forward and he took the Golden one from its slot. "Say hello to Theseus." Wolf tossed the pokeball and from it emerged a Vaporeon.
Hilbert analyzed Zeph's opponent, and he noticed this wasn't a regular Vaporeon. His eyes were the same color as Wolf's and not the same as a regular Vaporeon's eyes. Hilbert thought for a minute before the answer finally came to him.
"Zeph, you don't have the disadvantage," Zeph looked back at Hilbert slightly confused, "Remember what N pulled on us the last time we faced him." Realization dawned on Zeph's face and he smirked.
Wolf raised an eyebrow, "Come on, and let's get this show on the road." He said with a bit of annoyance.
"Zeph, use Focus Blast, lets show them what we can do" Zeph opened his beak and a swirling orb of blue power began to grow inside of it.
Wolf narrowed his eyes at Hilbert's smirk, "Use Taunt, we need to break his focus." The water type turned around and started shaking his tail in a mocking way. Zeph growled.
"Zeph, he's just messing with you stay focused." Hilbert called to his Pokémon, "You can beat him, just stay focused" Zeph nodded and the orb started to glow brighter and bigger. After a few seconds the orb was released in a brilliant beam of light that hit Theseus dead on.
Theseus flew backwards and landed on the ground covered with multiple bruises and scratches. As he was getting up, the Vaporeon was surrounded by an Anne orb. When it faded standing in Theseus's place was a Zoroark.
Hilbert smirked, "I knew it."
Wolf grunted in pain and staggered a little, "Very good. Not many can figure out Lloyd's illusions." His voice was strained as if he was in pain.
Hilbert raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong with you?" he asked with a bit of concern.
Wolf chuckled, "Me and Lloyd have so close of a bond. We can feel each other's pain, both emotional and physical." Wolf regained his balance and stood up strait. "Lloyd helps me in several ways Hilbert. He helps me get food, helps me train and exercise."
Wolf looked down and saw his chest was beginning to glow, "He can also mask my true appearance." Hilbert along with a large majority of the audience gasped. "Drop the illusion Lloyd; you're too weak to hold it now." Lloyd nodded and Wolf closed his eyes as the sphere of Anne light completely enveloped him.
When the sphere faded, the teen that stood in Wolf's place looked almost nothing like the Wolf Hilbert knew. He had the same height and build except for the fact that it looked more fit, but most everything else was different.
His white hair was now golden blonde and longer than it used to be, it was also messier and styled to look like a Zoroark's mane with it tied back with a light blue band halfway down. His skin was a few shades tanner, which was probably from constant training. Even his clothes were different. He was now wearing a black long-sleeved shirt under a black jacket, black sweats, and black combat boot. Slung across his shoulder was a black messenger bag.
Wolf opened his eyes to reveal that his irises a darker blue and the edges were colored silver, like a wolf's eyes. He reached into his bag and pulled out two items. The first being a pure black baseball cap which he put on his head. 'Wow he looks a lot like N' Hilbert thought to himself. The second thing he pulled out was a black bandanna that he tied around his neck.
"Amazing what illusion can do to a person." Wolf chuckled at the shocked expression on Hilbert's face, "Now if you don't mind. I'd like to finish this battle."
Hilbert looked at the real Wolf. Despite his new appearance, he didn't look that much different in his view, because this look would give people a better idea on his personality than the albino look.
Meanwhile with Ace and the girls, Ace leaned over still in shock and asked Anne, "Did you know about this?"
Anne smiled, "Of course I knew, I'm his older sister what would you expect."
Ace grumbled in annoyance, "I'm his mentor and one of his best friends, why wouldn't he tell me?!"
Anne turned to him and smiled, "Everyone has secrets Ace, and it's only right that he told me. I am his sister."
Ace smiled in return, "Well there's one thing that was never a secret." He put his arm around Anne and pulled her closer, "My feelings for you."
Bianca rolled her eyes, "As cute as this is, can you save it until the battles over." Without removing themselves from the embrace, the two love birds turned towards the battle.
Hilbert shook away his shock and tried to focus on the battlefield. "Zeph, don't let this throw you off, let's go for a Rock Smash."
Wolf blew his bangs out of his eyes, "Why don't we play a little dirty Lloyd, dodge and use Taunt, then I think it's time to use our secret weapon."
Zeph flew up high and dived forward towards Lloyd. When Zeph was a few feet away, Lloyd easily slipped underneath him and ran away leave Zeph to crash into the ground.
Zeph easily leapt up from the crater he created by his crash and he searched for the dark type. He felt a tap on his shoulder he turned, no one was there. He felt another tap on the opposite shoulder. This time he turned all the way around to catch his tormenter, no one was there. When he turned around he was greeted by Lloyd's taunting face. Zeph growled and attempted to punch Lloyd, but he easily jumped out of his reach, did a back flip, and landed on his feet.
When Lloyd regained his balance, he made a pose that said, 'You almost got me.' Zeph shot a Focus Blast at him and he narrowly missed. Lloyd just smirked and started messing with the black fur around his neck until it vaguely resembled the scarf Zeph was wearing. When Lloyd was finished he started dancing and leaping up and down waving his arms like wings while squawking in a really mocking tone, some of the audience members laughed at the display.
Zeph seemed to snap because he then charged Lloyd with rage burning in his eyes.
Wolf smirked, "Lloyd, use copycat."
Lloyd nodded and his chest blinked a red color and he started charging a Focus Blast. When Zeph wouldn't stop Lloyd released the blue orb of power and it started speeding toward Zeph.
Hilbert watched in worry at his closest Pokémon as he charged the sphere of power, then at the last second, Zeph jumped strait into the attack, grabbed it and threw it right back at a stunned Lloyd and an equally stunned Wolf.
Wolf had no time to give a command before Lloyds own attack smashed right into him knocking him unconscious.
"Lloyd is unable to battle, so this round goes to Zeph!"
"How did…?" Wolf tried to say but he was at loss for words.
Hilbert smiled proudly at Zeph, "Ever heard of the move 'Return'?"
Wolf smiled before bursting out laughing, "Amazing strategy I must say." He recalled Lloyd and put his pokeball away and Hilbert did the same for Zeph. "I can see why you've been able to keep your title for this long, but remember that I still haven't sent out my strongest. You'll be very surprised when you meet him."
Wolf reached to his belt and grabbed another pokeball, "Keith your mischief is just what I need." He released a Gliscor that had a malicious look in his eyes.
Hilbert eyed his opponent as he considered his options, "If only I still had Samurott." He pulled out another pokeball. "Come on out Beartic." and released the Freezing Pokémon, Wolf and Keith looked like they were having doubts.
"Beartic, let's finish this quickly with an Icicle Crash." Like a turret, Beartic started shooting icicles out of his hands at rapid fire.
"Keith wait for it," Wolf waited a while, "now use Protect." Keith surrounded himself with a light blue-green sphere that the icicles pounded against throwing him back.
"Okay Keith, use Toxic," Hilbert was about to counter-act the move, but stopped when Wolf said, "on yourself." Keith raised one of his pincers and deeply stuck his fang into it. While Hilbert expected Keith to get weaker, he seemed to be bursting energy.
"Poison Heal," Hilbert cursed to himself, "Beartic go for a Blizzard." Beartic roared and a huge burst of cold air rushed from his mouth and towards Keith. Wolf said a command, but Hilbert couldn't hear it over the howling of the Blizzard attack.
Keith started to glow when the Blizzard hit him full on, "Yes!" Hilbert shouted, but his celebration ended when he saw a dummy in Keith's place, "Substitution?!"
"That's right Hillbilly, I specifically trained Keith to tire and annoy my enemies." Wolf said while smirking, "Keith use Fire Fang." Keith suddenly appeared behind Beartic and bit him with his flaming teeth.
Hilbert smiled at this situation, "Beartic grab Keith when he releases his attack and deliver an ice punch to his face." When Beartic felt the fangs leaving his back, he twisted and grabbed Keith. Keith's pupils dilated with fear, Beartic smirked and punched Keith's face with his frosted fist.
Keith flew back and his eyes became swirls as he landed. "Keith is unable to battle, so this round goes to Beartic."
"This battle has definitely proven to be a challenge." Hilbert commented.
Wolf smiled, "Glad you think so, but I know I'm going to win." Wolf grabbed the pure white pokeball from the chain around his neck. He raised his voice and shouted to the crowd, "Ace! If you're listening, this is the reason I didn't need to barrow Carrie! Voice of Life your call is needed." He threw the pokeball and released an extremely strong and tough looking Hydreigon.
Ace and Anne's jaws dropped, they turned to each other and said at the same time, "Did you know about this?!"
Bianca looked at them, "Ace I thought you knew what Pokémon Wolf has?
"I thought I did know what Pokémon he has. Apparently I don't." they turned their attention to the battle.
Hilbert looked at Voice of Life with awe. "Okay, if you're fighting with a dragon. I'll fight with one two. Go Haxorus!" and he released to scary looking dragon-type.
Wolf and Hilbert both felt a fire burning inside them as they watch their opponent. Wolf was the first so say a command. "Use Fire Blast." A flame appeared in each of the dragon's heads, each of them connected by a rope of flame and they began to grow larger and hotter by the second.
"Haxorus use Outrage." Haxorus charged the flaming hydra as his armor was covered with royal blue flames. Voice of Life released his Fire Blast and Haxorus ran straight into it. If he was damaged he didn't show it as smashed into Voice of Life.
"Come on, shake it off you can beat this guy." Wolf encouraged Voice of Life. Hearing his trainers words Voice of Life floated into the air. "Let's finish this. Charge him full on with Head Smash."
Hilbert raised an eyebrow. "If that how he wants to play. Haxorus use Outrage."
Both Pokémon charged each other with a large amount of speed. Voice of Life's head glowed while Haxorus's armor was once again covered by royal blue flames. When the two attacks collided, the result was a large explosion that filled the stadium with smoke and dust. When the smoke cleared it showed Voice of Life and Haxorus both laying on the ground with swirls for their eyes.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, so it's a tie." The announcer said as they recalled their Pokémon, "Its three to three. Only one more round left to decide who will be Unova's Pokémon League Champion."
Hilbert was in deep thought, 'Now I get to see his most powerful Pokémon.' He looked around the stadium at all his adoring fans and his eyes 'I will lose, no matter what. It's been believable enough for them to be satisfied. It's time to finish this battle, and then complete my new dream; loving Bianca as long as I live.' Hilbert looked at Wolf to see that there were tears in his eyes. "What's wrong with you?"
Wolf smiled a real smile. Not his usual joking or taunting smirk. A real smile, "Dusk, my most powerful Pokémon, just told me your thoughts. Very touching and heartfelt, if only Bianca could hear those words. Send out your most powerful Hilbert. Let's give these people a battle they'll tell their grandchildren about!" And he removed the silver pokeball with the emerald button from the charm around his neck. When he enlarged it, Hilbert saw a gold star on the top half.
Hilbert smiled, "Very well. Reshiram I require your power." And he released the Dragon of Truth. Reshiram looked at Wolf and nodded in respect.
Wolf returned the nod, "Reshiram is a truly majestic Pokémon." Wolf looked down at the pokeball in his hand and gripped it tighter, "But I know that Dusk is going to win. Come on out Dusk." He opened the pokeball and out came a Jirachi.
Hilbert along with most of the audience was astounded at the small Pokémon Wolf said was his strongest. As if he read his thoughts he said, "He really is my strongest, and I'll prove it. Dusk use Draco Meteor." Dusk closed his eyes and started to glow with a white aura. Then out of nowhere an enormous flaming orb of purple energy came from the sky and smashed into Reshiram causing him to take a few steps back.
Hilbert stared in shock, but quickly came out of it. "Reshiram, Blue Flare." Reshiram opened his mouth and roared with a pillar of blue flame leaving his snout that engulfed Dusk in flames. When Reshiram ended his attack, Dusk wasn't there. Then in a flash of Anne he appeared a few feet from where he used to be.
Wolf smiled at Dusk, "Good job. No use Future Sight," Dusk's eyes glowed Anne. "Now Doom Desire." Dusk's skin glowed with a grey luster. "Now use rest, you'll need it." Dusk's eyes closed and he fell into a deep slumber.
Hilbert knew what was coming, "Reshiram, use Calm Mind." Reshirim closed his eyes and began to relax. "Now use Blue Flare one more time." As he did before he released a huge Cullum of blue flames from his snout that enveloped Dusk as he slept.
When the flames ended it showed dusk covered with several burns, but he was still asleep so they couldn't tell if he was unconscious. Hilbert whispered, "Now it's time for Dusk's attacks to take effect.
As if a response to his words the air around Reshiram glowed pink and a metallic grey at it started pressing down on Reshiram. He tried his best to fight it, but with a roar of pain, Reshiram crumpled to the ground with swirls for eyes.
Everybody, knowing Reshiram was unable to battle, turned their attention to Dusk. After ten seconds, his eyes fluttered open; he yawned, and floated back into the air. Still covered with burns, but still looked as strong as ever.
"Reshiram is unable to battle, and Dusk is the winner. That's four rounds won, which means Unova has a new Champion. Let's give it up for Wolf Winters!" the crowd erupted into cheers.
Wolf walked to Dusk, "We did it Dusk. We won the Pokémon League!" Wolf then brought Dusk into a hug.
Hilbert walked over when Wolf was finished and held out his hand, "It was a great battle Wolf. You definitely deserve the title." Hilbert gave Wolf a brotherly hug and whispered, "Thanks."
When Hilbert broke away from the embrace Dusk floated in front of him, 'you really love her don't you.' A voice whispered in his head, it was like Wolf's, but it sounded a lot kinder, he knew it was Dusk saying it.
'Yes, with all my heart and I hope to keep her happy for the rest of my life.' Hilbert said in his mind so only Dusk could hear him. Dusk nodded and put one of his hands on his chest and the star on his head glowed white, and he felt something in his hand. When he looked down he saw it was a small velvet box. He looked at Dusk and Wolf, 'Thank you.'

After hours of partying and celebrating, Wolf, Anne, Ace, Hilbert, and Bianca were alone in the Pokémon Center. Anne was on the couch with Wolf on her left side and Ace on her right and one her lap curled up was Bubblegum sleeping. Hilbert and Bianca were sitting together on the love seat on the other side of the room they were in.
Wolf looked over at Hilbert and Bianca sitting next to each other, one look from Hilbert and he knew what he had to do. "Ace, Anne come one lets go back to our room before it gets too late." They got up and followed him out the door.
When they left the room wolf stopped them and stood near the doorway as if he intended to eavesdrop on Hilbert and Bianca, "Wolf what are you-" Anne started to say, but Wolf shushed her.
'Shhh, just keep it down. You're going to want to hear this."
Meanwhile with Hilbert and Bianca. The two were talking about him losing the League.
"You sure you're not upset?" she asked him.
He smiled at her concern, "No, if anything I'm actually quite happy."
Bianca was surprised, "Why is that?"
Hilbert got up and Bianca did too, "It means I can spend more time with you." She smiled and kissed him on the cheek, "By the way, there is something important I need to tell you." Hilbert reached into his back pocket, pulled out the velvet box and gave it to her.
She looked up at him with wide eyes, "Open it." she opened the lid and was struck with amazement.
The inside of the box was a silky white and on the lid of the box were the words, "I love you with all my heart, and I hope to make you happy for as long as I live and beyond that." Were printed in black cursive writing. In the bottom half of the box was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen.
The band was white gold with designs of regular gold weaving around it. Set into the band was a light yellow, perfectly formed, brilliant round cut diamond. Circling the beautiful gem were the words "I love you" carved into the band.
Hilbert got on one knee, "Bianca, I've wanted to ask you this for a long time, but being the Champion was constantly getting in my way. A while ago I couldn't help but think something was missing from my life, and earlier I realized what it was, you. Wolf beat me so I could be with you and so I could ask you this. Will you marry me Bianca?"
Bianca felt tears of joy building up in her eyes as she heard his words, "Yes. Yes, yes, yes a million times yes!" Hilbert stood up and slid the ring onto her finger and starred lovingly into her eyes.
"Ahem" the two lovebirds turned their attention to three familiar faces peeking through the doorway.
Hilbert rolled his eyes knowing he should've expected this from Wolf. "Okay you can come out now, and as you probably heard. She said yes." Bianca smiled and held up her left hand showing the ring.
Anne ran to Bianca and Hilbert and gave both of them a hug saying congratulations. Ace looked at Wolf, "It was your plan all along to get those two together." He said as he gestured at the newly engaged couple.
Wolf looked at Ace and shrugged, "It's what I do."
Ace looked at Wolf, "And yet you ask for nothing. Why?"
"Seeing my friends happy makes me happy." Wolf and Ace started to walk away. "Hilbert and Bianca were happy together, so I brought them together. With you and Anne, you already know that story."
"You're really something you know that?" Ace said as he ruffled Wolf's hair.
Wolf fixed his hair and put his cap back on, "I have only one more goal left, but I'm sure to get more."
Ace eyed him curiously, "And that is?"
Wolf smirked at Ace, "Get you to propose to Anne." And with that he walked away.
"Oh, okay." Ace's eyes widened with realization as his mind processed what Wolf just said, "Wait, WHAT!"
When Wolf got back to Hilbert, Bianca and Anne. Hilbert pulled him aside, "Can I talk to you for a sec."
Without much thought he replied, "Sure."
Hilbert lead Wolf into an empty room. When they were inside he turned towards Wolf. "Why?" Wolf looked at him in confusion, "Why did you have Dusk give me that ring? Why would you do so much for me and Bianca?"
Wolf pondered for a minute. "Do you know why I have Dusk on my team?" Hilbert shook his head no, "Well, I battle him and I won, so he granted me one wish. I wished that I would be able to make all my friends happy. He offered me other things, but I was adamant about my choice. He decided I was a good person, so he asked me if he could join my team. He doesn't really grant wishes anymore, unless it's a wish that will have nothing to do with themselves. You wished you could make Bianca happy no matter what happened to you. So he created her ring using only the love you had for her."
Hilbert nodded, "Well thanks again."
Wolf smiled, "Anytime." He was about to leave the room when he turned around with a smirk on his face, "Also one more thing. Don't get too crazy with Bianca. I'm not ready to become an uncle." And with that remark said. Wolf ran away as quick as he could.
Meanwhile in the other room. Anne and Bianca were admiring Bianca's engagement ring when wolf ran past at full speed. "What's he running so fast from?" Anne asked.
As if in response to her words Hilbert ran past them with a seething look on his face, "WOLF! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" and he ran outside after Wolf.
Bianca giggled at the familiar scene, "déjà vu." She muttered to herself as Hilbert chased Wolf outside.
Anne looked at Bianca, "Was today a good day?"
Bianca nodded as she looked at the ring on her left hand, "The best." And she thought about her fiancé.
