There are moments where he just stops, stands, and stares. Because fuck, you don't just spend forty years in hell and then not be reminded of it.

So maybe he flips a little when he sees a fly trapped in a spider web. But that fly was still struggling, and its creepy how easily Dean can picture himself in its place.

And when Sam comes back to see him staring at the fly, he can understand why Sam gets concerned. Really, he can. But that doesn't make the memories any less raw, or any easier to explain. So he doesn't.
