"Your mother was there for me at a time when no one else was. Not only was she a singularly gifted witch, she was also an uncommonly kind woman. She had a way of seeing the beauty in others even, and perhaps most especially, when that person couldn't see it in themselves."

Remus Lupin talking to Harry Potter about Lily Evans

Tears of joy and tears of pain streamed down my face like rain gushing and carving its way down a smooth, clear, windowpane and a soft cry was heard echoing around the white spread room.

"He's beautiful…" I heard James whisper as he knelt down on the edge of my bed and gently stroked the bundle in my arms with one lone fingertip.

"I know…" I breathed my face cracking into an adoring gleeful grin as I said so.

Because finally I had done it, I had finally given birth to my wonderful, miraculous, beautiful, healthy, baby boy; and nobody, not even Petunia with her hatred for magic or Sirius with his lame puns and childish antics could take this breath taking moment away from me.

James laughed suddenly, his eyes sparkling with unshed tears. "He's got you eyes you know"

I took a quick second to glance one more time down at Harry and into his soft emerald eyes before looking back up towards James. "Well he inherited that side off of me, but he better not of gotten a hold your prankster genes" I replied grimly with a mock-tone warning.

"What?" James gasped, looking up suddenly to meet my eyes "I'll teach him everything I know!"He stated, standing up proudly and doing a little fist pump, "He and his friends will be the next generation Marauders!"

"And let me guess, you'll give him that silly map of yours and your invisibility cloak while you're at it?" I asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

"Why of course!" James grinned, "he'll also be on the Gryffindor Quidditch team" He added as an after thought, "I'll have to convince him to play Chaser before Sirius get's to him and turns him into a beater though" He laughed reminiscing about all the good times at Hogwarts.

"I wouldn't wish for any less…" I said in a hushed tone. For I was happy, I was content.

Uhh... I honestly didn't really like this, I just don't think it really seemed to flow that well, but it was due today so I hope you liked it! xx.
