an- i don't like this much. let's see if you like it. pardon my americanisms.
disclaimer- i don't own dw or its characters. obviously.
i.
Rory Williams does not know where he is. Everything is dark and then there's this banging in his head.
And then he's in a Roman legion, like he has been for years.
No he hasn't though. It's all chaotic, and this legion feels wrong anyway.
What is an Amypond?
(an amypond is something red and beautiful and human and gorgeous and smart and fantastic and she never-grows-up no matter how hard rory tries to make her)
And the Doctor isn't quite as clear but it reminds him of a bow-tie, whatever a bow-tie is.
Rory decides to wait for Amypond.
ii.
River Song does not know how she exists.
who is rory williams? rory williams is her father. rory williams is an ageless god. rory williams does not exist.
River decides to ask her Doctor, an older Doctor, and in this reality there is a Rory, and this whole chaotic mess is far too beautiful to live.
She must fix this.
River Song decides to go and help the Doctor bring the universe back. She needs to find a way to get there to him, and she doesn't want to simply be rescued. River Song had to state that she existed.
iii.
Brian Williams was a lonely man.
His wife had died seven years ago, and the only girl in Leadworth who had ever been kind to him lately had gone missing.
Why was Amelia Pond so kind to him?
But wait, Amelia Pond was not called Amelia Pond, she was called Amy. How had Amy Pond started being called Amy Pond? Something about noses and swingsets and best friends.
Brian Williams' past twenty-two years made no sense.
Didn't Brian have family?
Who was Rory?
Was Rory some sort of ghost?
Brian Williams has decided that he makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
iv.
The TARDIS does not understand nonexistence. If something exists at some point in time, it will always exist, and it is infinite. She does not understand what her thief means when he says that his companions are gone, because they've been there at some point in time, hence, they are still there.
But Rory Williams, her pretty one, is not still there.
This disturbs the TARDIS.
The Pretty One does not exist. How does that happen?
The Pretty One is real, the Pretty One is not a dream.
So how is he not there?
She misses her Nonexistent Pretty One.
v.
The Doctor does not know how he can remember something that never existed. This makes no logical sense to him, although he has never made much logical sense and he is perfectly happy with that.
Rory Williams was dead, but he wasn't dead, but he was only not dead because he had died.
Rory Williams made no sense.
The Doctor was starting to become intrigued with Rory Williams.
Although, Rory Williams could not be found, as he was nonexistent.
Rory Williams was, in all simplicity, not the Doctor's favourite companion.
However, Rory Williams is not weak. Was not weak. Was nothing.
what did i just right.
and i didn't even put amy in there.
i'm sorry fandom.
i love you.
