It began as a childhood dream,
Neither mischief nor a scheme.
A letter at age eleven
Gave my life magic and heaven.
I was accepted at a school
Where witchcraft was my only tool.
It sounded so delusional,
not to mention irrational.
There is no such thing as magic
In a world governed by logic.
It was rather impossible.
But who made it improbable?
Mankind's dreams had horribly died,
To themselves they had grimly lied.
Imaginations were long gone.
Buried alive at early dawn.
Fortunately, I am different
For I believe in each moment.
I am special like no other,
and beautiful like my mother.
I'm a proud witch of Hogwarts,
Where the enchantment always starts.
It may not be so real to you,
But to me, it's a school so true.
For you are so ordinary,
Whilst I live in great wizardry.
Fictional in your point-of-view,
Oh, we do not care if you do.
But never dare to insult us,
Or else, we'll "Crucio" you to dust!
Lions are red, Eagles are blue,
It is real like the morning dew.
Badgers are yellow, Snakes are green,
It's a place every child has seen.
To Hogwarts, I raise my wand.
Potterheads, let's unite as one.
To our Queen, Jo, thank you so
much...
