Time Will Not Come Soon

Darkness is just a memory,
Dead and gone,
Light is but a shadow,
Like a time that lives on,
I wait and watch,
For the time isn't right,
For someone to rescue me,
For someone to fight,
Oh, sad days await me,
Like nothing I've ever seen,
I watch as I can't do things,
I normally can,
But that was the past,
Now I can't,
I watch as it talks for me,
Walks for me,
Sings for me,
Plays with my memories like a toy,
Reads them like a book,
It hears my thoughts, knows my anger and feels me annoyed,
I can't keep a secret any longer,
In fear it will not be kept,
I lay at night and sleep in my head,
But the Yeerk has never slept,
Rest is nothing,
My mind is everything,
I feel like this is the beginning,
Oh all eternal doom,
I will be rescued by the Andalites,
But that time will not come soon.
