Reincarnation is not fun, not when you're being born. Again.

Being squeezed out of warm darkness is not fun. It's terrifying. I thought I was dying all over again.

When I finally popped out of the tube of death I felt terrible.

It was cold, I couldn't see, I couldn't move, and I was wet.

I didn't like the feeling at all. Not to mention I was being held in a strangers arms. I tried to shout "Hey bub let go of me!" notice the tried. What I really got was a warbled yell of gibberish.

Then my mind began to catch up with the sensations around me. It faintly registered in my mind that I was smaller and that there were people talking around me, in a language that was definitely not English.

Reincarnation. Rebirth. Renewal. Second Chance. Start over.

Those are the thoughts that slammed into my mind with the weigh of a bulldozer. I had been reborn. With a new set of parents and a new life. Goody.

As I was coming to realize the meaning my predicament I was handed over to a new person that I presumed to be mother dearest. The voice that proceed to coo and talk to me was decidedly female and soft. Speaking in a language that was clearly Japanese now that I listened more closely to it.

Understanding a language is hard enough and watching Japanese anime will only get you so far. However it does help with recognizing certain words no mater how few they are. I noticed a few like musume, kawaii, and konnichiwa.

What really caught my attention was mother dearest saying my name, well my new name.

Haruno Misaki.

God forbid I didn't know that last name. The name of a pink haired kunoichi in the anime called Naruto.

My last coherent thought before I turned into a pile of crying temperamental mush was 'Who the hell did I screw over to deserve this!'
