Mary Harris began her life in Cork,Ireland .She came to live in the United she got there she became a school teacher. In 1867,her husband died of a sickness called Yellow fever. Yellow fever is a type of sickness that can cause many her husband died her four children had Yellow fever too. Her four children and her husband had died of Yellow fever.
After her four children died she became very lonely and very Mary moved to Chicago and spent the rest of her life living there. Four years later she lost everything in the great Chicago that happened she spent the other half of her life invoild in the Labor 1890's to the 1920's she worked very hard and tirelessly as a poliitical
