During the horrifying days of the control of the world by pokemon, tables are turned. Pokemon used their masters as fighting machines, where cloned humans fight each other to the death. All of the originals are in captivity, and the ones that escape have either disappeared or been killed by Mew's Retaliators, the army of secret Pokemon that are trained in ruthlessness and evil. The only known free originals alive are Team Rocket, a group of humans luckily far away when Mew had used her super-psychic powers and devastated all the cities of Pokemon Land. Mew had convinced all Pokemon, especially ones with careless trainers, that humans were not meant to exist. They joined her on the "Freedom Crusade," and destroyed humanity. Only after Mew took over the world did she put small groups of cloned humans together in villages, to put up the scenario that humans were to be used like Pokemon had been used. That was two years ago. Unfortunately during that time period many members of Team Rocket had been captured and executed. Now the fate of the human race depends on the actions of these six survivors. Ash Ketchum, a young man destined to be a Master; it had taken him months of hard work to train for competition. Now, thanks to Mew, his hard work will never be paid. Misty Waterflower, the ex-Gym Leader of Cerulean City; her water Pokemon had gotten the group out of trouble numerous times. Tracey Sketcher, a wonder artist whose ability to read people's expressions and gestures kept them from the hands of death more than anyone could remember. Brock Granite, the ex-Pewter City Gym Leader whose logical reasoning saved them from the clutches of evil. Jessie Myamoto, the agile minded fashion designer whose cross-dressing ideas about disguises hooded them from The Retaliators terrible wrath. Last of all, James Wealth, who had volunteered for life threatening jobs and hazardous situations on every opportunity. Together they will control and alter the face of the Earth.
Author's Note: Okay, I know the characters don't sound like themselves. They are two years older than in the cartoon series, so they've grown more mature (I Hope)!
