Severus knelt at the Dark Lord's feet as he placed the medal over his head.
"Rise, Severus. You have done well in my service."
He stood and bowed deeply. Then: "Master, I have a favour to ask of you."
Voldemort gestured for him to continue.
"The Mudblood Granger… do you have a plan in mind for her? She is the last of the despicable Golden Trio of Gryffindors."
Voldemort's cruel laugh echoed through the room. He waved his wand, and Hermione's bound body was deposited at Severus' feet.
"Thank you, my Lord."
"I reward my most faithful servants well Severus."
