"You wanna shut up right about now," Jade said to Beck, "and let me finish what I was gonna say"

Beck growled.

"This had better be good," he said.

He was really pissed off at Jade for making fun of Tori. At least, that's what he THOUGHT she was doing.

"You must feel so stupid Vega. Look at you. You have EVERYTHING going for you. You're pretty. You're smart. Even without being a winner you're a winner. You never give up. You're funny. You're a good friend. How can you be dumb enough to let some idiot guy make you feel bad about yourself. That's what he is Vega. He's an idiot guy who isn't good enough to kiss the bottom of your feet. He doesn't deserve you."

Beck's eyes shot to the top of his head and his jaw dropped. Did Jade just compliment Tori?

"Thanks Jade," Tori said, "I feel a lot better now."

"Good Vega," Jade said, "I mean... Tori"

"Jade," Beck said after Tori walked out, "Did you just compliment Tori?"

"I simply told the truth. That's all I did."

"I am astonished."

"You're also in big trouble," Jade said, "How DARE you talk down to me the way you did before?"

"I thought you were insulting her"

"And that excuses you from what you did because? Beck you spoke to me as if I was a loser and even when I was a loser I didn't put up with being treated like one.

"I insult Vega sometimes but that's the mark of our friendship. So before you interrupt me you might want to let me finish my thought."

"I know," Beck said, "and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to talk down to you and you have never been a loser"

"Yeah but you acted like one so for the next few days you don't have the privileges that comes with being the winner that you normal are. Oh and I'm in charge until you get in control of yourself and stop putting people down"

Beck rolled his eyes.

"When are you not in charge," he teased.

"Um... when I'm asleep," she said with a smirk

He raised an eyebrow.

"That's about right," he said

"Shut up and kiss me," she told him.

He was happy to obey her, this was one lesson he was eager to learn.

Beck had to write a report on why he shouldn't talk down to Jade. Then and only then would he get the privileges that came with being Jade's boyfriend. After he finished he handed his report to Jade.

"Wow," she said, "You worked hard on this"

"Yes," he said, "and I learned my lesson well"

"Good," Jade said, "Now join me in the hot tub in 10 minutes"
