AN: I originally shared an account with a friend, and posted this story on that one, but I decided to make my own. So, I am NOT copying anybody! This is just a story that I came up with.. Enjoy! :)
"I hold?" the soft whisper left the boys lips, he knew he had to be quiet in the room. "Sure Tristan." The man said to his best friend's two year old son, before walking over to the hospital bed to retrieve the tiny bundle from his wife's arms. (The friends had been out on an outing, when his wife went into labor.) He walked over to the boy sitting in the chair in the corner of the room. "Be careful now, hold her like this." Once the baby was settled in his arms, (with the exception of the man's cautious hands close by), Tristan smiled. "I love this baby. I will always love her." He replied in his toddler slang. The adults in the room smiled, watching the boy. The baby watched him with curious little eyes, cooing softly at his voice…. Her bright green eyes met his icy blue ones. Her tiny hand grasped hold of his pinky, squeezing it with all her might. "Pinky promise." Tristan mumbled.
AN: So… there's the PREFACE. How'd you like it? Reviews are always welcome:) I will update with the next chapter shortly.
