It isn't even February, but hey! Happy Valentines Day, DarkBalance! And um, enjoy!

Davis drummed his fingers on his desk, recreating the rhythm to a song he liked by accident. It was something he normally did when he was bored. And waiting caused boredom, so he might as well play a little tune.

He stared at the computer as well. Staring at something always helped waiting, somehow. And it seemed like the computer stared back at him, almost as if it said: "Nope, not coming back anytime soon."

A sigh escaped his mouth. There was a game in twenty, and while he wasn't playing, he wanted to watch it. It was his senior verses Ken, and that would end in some kind of interesting match.

But nope, he was stuck waiting for TK and Kari to return. And while he didn't mind them hanging out (he had somehow managed to move on from Kari), especially since he knew what they were supposed to do, it was just so boring to wait. And everyone knew that Davis hated waiting, and everyone used that against him.

And here was no exception. TK had said it would only take about ten minutes - they weren't doing anything too lengthy apparently - but it's been long past that and it just annoyed him.

At least there was one thing Davis was glad about, and it was really only because of himself that this was a thing. He wasn't scrowling and growling at the thought of what TK and Kari were doing. Now that was something that started to annoy him even more than waiting.

Fifteen minutes until the game. At this rate, he'd probably only have five minutes to head to the game. No way he was going to catch the entire thing.

"Coming through!"

There was a crash and it ended with Davis finding himself squashed by TK and Kari.

"Could've warned me sooner." But at least there was time to catch the game.

There wasn't any conversation as they worked through the now somewhat normal process that was getting the mess of people standing up like they were supposed to. It only took a minute to do anyways.

"Well I guess I better get going," Davis said after he managed to get up. He stretched for a bit before making move to dash off. It was twelve minutes 'till the game and he doubt he could make it in half that time.

"Mind waiting for a bit?"

"But the game." Maybe he did have some whining qualities left in him. But at least this was something that actually made sense to whine about.

"There's still time. Trust me, it'll only take two minutes."

Davis groaned, but stayed anyways. He'd just have to sprint for those last couple of blocks then.

Kari took her leave just as Davis got close enough to TK. In his hand was two tickets, the tops sparking green and yellow, just like data.

"Ever seen Digimon play soccer?"

Davis shook his head. Aside from the little sparring matches Veemon and Agumon had, he never saw anything that even remotely related to soccer from Digimon.

"Well then, I guess this is your lucky day." He took one of the tickets and placed it in Davis's hand.

The ticket sparked in his hand. It was apparently set to disintegrate once the game was over. The Digital World really was weird at times.

"How did you find this anyways?"

"A lot of errands."

And that was why they were so late. It all made sense - there were a lot of cheapskates in the Digital World, and so getting something as simple as tickets could take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a day.

"Don't you have a game to get to?"

It was eight minutes 'till.

"I'll make it!" He almost shot out the door before remembering his manners. "And, uh, thanks, TK."
