a/n: guess who's the guy haru'll end up here. :) enjoy!
Haru couldn't help but sway a little at the song being played, her glass of champagne half-full. She looks around the room and saw her friends having a good time. She saw Ryohei dancing with Hana, and even though the latter may deny it, she's enjoying the loud boxer's company. And from the corner of her eye, she could've sworn she saw Mukuro smiling genuinely at Chrome as he twirls the latter slowly. From the other side of the room she saw the newlyweds, Tsuna and Kyoko, sharing a sweet moment. She couldn't help but felt a pang in her chest as she saw the two, but it's not as strong nor as painful as when she was younger. She could now honestly say that she's now accepting the love her two friends shared, and also, she's happy for the two of them. She truly is. So she smiled and took a sip on her champagne, just watching her friends enjoying themselves for this joyous moment.
While Haru was busy musing and watching everyone in her seat, a certain person was also watching her.
"Champagne, sir?"
The waiter approached the man and offered him a flute of champagne, but the man graciously declined and slowly but surely, walks his way towards the lovely brunette.
"May I have this dance?"
He asks as he held his hand, surprising her. Haru looks up and is surprised that the man even asked her for a dance. With nothing else to do, not to mention that she's getting rather bored in her own seat, she accepts the offer and let the man lead her away to the dance floor. As soon as they reached the dance floor, Haru couldn't help but ask her partner on why he asked her of all people.
"Well, from where I was standing, I saw a beautiful woman bored to death. And being the gentleman that I am, I decided to ask her to dance with me. Does that answer your question, Haru?"
She couldn't help but giggle for a bit at his answer. Seeing her smile made his chest swell up a bit, glad that he had lifted whatever it is that made her blue. And he was certain that it's not because of Tsuna.
"You sure know how to make a woman smile. Is this the so-called 'Italian Charm'?"
The man just smiled down at the woman and held her in his arms a little tighter, not really answering her question. They continued to dance and talk, as if they were in their own world. What the two of them didn't realize, almost everyone in the room is looking at them. They had managed to steal the spotlight from the newlyweds, but the newlyweds themselves didn't mind. They were actually glad for the two.
"Looks like there will be another wedding, Tsu-kun"
Kyoko said as she smiles warmly at her husband. Tsuna looks over at his new bride and couldn't help but also smile in return.
"I guess so, Kyoko. They didn't even realize that it's only the two of them left on the dance floor too. What do you think Reborn?"
The Vongola boss turned his head towards his former tutor. The older man tilted his fedora at the couple and then smirked.
"About time, if you ask me. They've been running around in circles for years, y'know"
The newlyweds nodded and looked over at the dancing pair once again with smiles in their faces.
