Thunder and Lightning
Maibe: Ok for some strange reason I keep writing Tendershipping
Magdalene: (Yawns) Here's some fluff
The rumble and crackle woke the light up. He hated the sound of the heavens splitting open and the white light of destruction speeding down to the earth. Shaking, his slips out of bed and stumbles through the small corridor. He fumbles with the doorknob and nearly falls into the new room when the white light and rumbles shook the apartment building.
The dark felt something warm crawling into his bed. "Ugh. Hikari it's three in the morning." He whined as his light's body press up against his. "I can't sleep Yami." The small male states as the light flashes through the night sky. He grips Bakura tightly when its sound erupted.
"I might sound silly but I have a pathological fear of thunder storms. Can I stay here until it's over?" Ryou asks, his voice seeming to beg. A pair of strong arms gripping him tightly answered his question. He feels the thief stroking his hair gently, cooing softly. These comforting sounds were just what he needed as he watched the white light dance. His body trembled as the sound of copper pans being crashed together rattled though his ears.
"Shhs. There there. Nothing to be afraid of Ryou… I'm here." The spirit whispered before placing a soft kiss on his human's forehead. The boy was grateful that the spirit knew when to be comforting and gentle, opposed to his usually violent nature. They sat there in silence, save for the thunder.
Soon, the storm shimmered down into nothing. The young hikari could finally get some rest. He lay there in his yami's arms, slipping into a deep peaceful slumber. The soft sound of breathing was just what the tomb-robber need. Before returning to the world of dreams, Bakura silently thanked the God Seth for sending the storm to Domino, for it had brought the only person he cared for closer to him. The light and the dark slept in total peace in each others arms.
