"Why are we here, daddy?" The young girl looked around the crowded bomb shelter, seeing a few other families crying and hugging.
"Sweetheart, just close your eyes." The young man squeezed his daughter close on his lap. People had started screaming, the noises from the surface thundered through the underground sanctuary, echoing off the metal. They were coming.

"Daddy! Why is everyone sad?" A tear rolled down his eye as the father looked at the only thing he loved. He began to sing, in a soft whisper.

"Hush Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird

Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring.

Papa's gonna buy you a looking g-"

He was cut off when the metal walls tore like cardboard.

"The Nosalis are here!"
"We have nowhere to go!" People scrambled to find cover in the small bunker as a horde of mutated monstrosities pooled in, hungry for meat.

They looked like giant moles, with sharp teeth and skin ripped at the seams. Within seconds, the people in the room had been reduced to a bloody mess. Being eaten alive, the father reached into his jacket, and pulled out his revolver.
"Only one left, damn this luck." He thought to himself. He raised the gun to the young girl's head.
"I'm sorry.."
