Excuses

What are you doing?

I'm watching the raindrops roll down the car window like tears.

What are you doing?

I'm hiding away all my fears.

What are you doing?

I smiling a plastic smile just to get through the day.

What are you doing?

I'm trying to cut my pain away.

What are you doing?

I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of my chills.

What are you doing?

I'm just taking lots of pills.

What are you doing?

I'm trying to remember how to feel because I forgot.

What are you doing?

I'm trying to tie a loop and knot.

What are you doing?

I'm pressing the trigger to my head and hearing shots.

What are you doing,

to help these suicidal thoughts?
