Tian Shan Mountain Range, Kazahkstan

Day 2 of the Russo-American Conflict- 2016

"Roach, take that snowmobile! Let's get the hell out of here!"

"Yes, sir!"

Roach turned around and fired his F88 at the pursuing Russians, just to hold them back long enough for him to mount the snowmobile.

He slung the rifle over his back and got on the snowmobile, gunning the engine and speeding off into the nearby forest. He turned his head, to see an enemy helicopter, an Mi-24 Hind.

"Kilo Six-One, the primary exfil point is compromised!" Mactavish barked over the radio. "We're en route to the backup LZ using enemy transport! Meet us there! Over!"

"Bravo Six, this is Kilo Six-One, roger that, out." The Chinook Pilot responded.

Suddenly, Roach heard the distinct Ra-ta-tat of an AK rifle, and bullets whipped the snow around him.

"More tangos to the rear! Just outrun them! Go! Go!"

Suddenly, a group of snowmobiles, each with an enemy on the back, sped in front of Roach's. The men on the back, armed with RPKs and AKMs, opened fire. Roach fumbled with his one free hand for the MP9 he had brought, trying to dodge both the AK fire and the helicopter's rockets. He brought it up and fired.

"Don't slow down! Keep moving or your dead! Go! Go! Go!" Mactavish urged. "Come on! Come on!"

Another group of enemiescame up in front of him. Right then, they began to drive on a frozen lake. roach took advantage of the lack of obstacles to reload his MP9. He leveled it and fired again, knocking a few more snowmobiles out of action.

"BravoSix, we're at bingo fuel. What's your status, over?" The Chinook pilot asked.

"Kilo Six-One, we're taking heavy fire but we're almost there! Standby!" Mactavish assured. "Pin the throttle! Keep going!" he shouted, to Roach.

Roach drove over the ridge, to find himself going down a steep slope. The snowmobiles ceased to pursue him.

"Keep going! Keep going!" MacTavish kept saying to Roach. Now, the enemy helicopter had begun to leave the area, too.

"Here we go, jump the gap!" MacTavish yelled, as he made the jump and landed on the other side.

Roach tensed, floored the pedal, and closed his eyes as he left the cliff behind him.

He opened his eyes mid-air. There he was. If he didn't make the jump, then he would have an entire mile to fall before the Grim Reaper would come for him.

He closed his eyes again.

He felt his snowmobile hit the snow. He made it!

"There's the chopper! Let's go!" MacTavish said.

"Bravo Six, we have you on visual. Get your ass on board! We're running on fumes here!" The Chinook pilot said.

"Got it, we're coming in!" Roach said, as he drove his snowmobile up to the helicopter, surrounded by the soldiers guarding them. He got out, fired his F88 into the oncoming Russians again, before boarding the helicopter.

"Okay, they got the ACS! We're outta here!" one soldier announced, and they began to load up the Chinook.
