The red flood of Satan
''The red flood of Satan?!'', Allison asked sarcastically ,''Lyds, what are you talking about?''
''Didn't I make my point clear enough?! PERIOD! I'm on my f...ing period!'', Lydia threw back harshly.
That explained a lot. It explained why the strawberryblonde had been stuffing her face with chocolate and a lot of other junk lately or why she had cried over th B- she had gotten for her essay.
Lydia Martin could be harsh sometimes, but don't you dare cross her way when she's on her period. That never ends well.
One time she had even thought about breaking up with Allison, who had already been used to her girlfriend's 'on-my-period temper'.
But that had been months ago.
''Don't worry, sweetheart. Today, I'm all yours. If you want, we can go shopping, but I think you'd rather want to stay home, watch an old movie and order some pizza?'', the brunette asked, knowing her mate well enough to tell what she needed.
Lydia came over and hugged the older one, whispering: ''Thanks babe. You're the best.''
Two hours later, they were sitting on the Martins' couch in their pjs, eating slices of pizza and rewatching the first season of Lydia's favourite show.
The shorter one was holding a hot-water bag to her abdomen and was crying even when the bad boy died.
Allison held Lydia in her arms, giving her a kiss on the forehead every time she made a face because of a cramp.
Soon both girls fell asleep, still holding each other in their arms, the tv still on.
When Mrs. Martin came back home that night she only saw the girls on the couch together and couldn't help but smile.
The huntress did the same thing to Lydia, that she had done, eversince Lydia had been on her period and she was reliefed to see Allison so concerned about her daughter.
She knew, Allison was the best partner her daughter had ever had and she didn't care a bit, that they weren't 'straight'. Allison knew what Lydia was going through and she could steady her, unlike any boy had ever done.
She put a blanket over the girls and kissed her daughter goodnight, before leaving with a smile on her face.
