Ages: May: 15 and Drew: 15

May sighed as she looked at a rose. Drew always gave her a rose, and she wasn't complaining. But she did wonder, Why roses? She was sitting on a bench in the park, dressed in a red t-shirt that fit her form very nicely with some black jeans and shoes. She also wasn't wearing her bandana.

Drew was walking around in the park, when he spotted May. She was looking at the rose in deep thought. Drew took the moment to look at her more closely. Mew, she looked beautiful. The sunset was hitting her perfectly, and she looked peaceful yet confused about something. Drew walked over to her, and sat down next to her. This caused her to look up in surprise.

"Hey Drew." May said still holding onto the rose.

"Hey." He said back. Then he smirked. "Didn't give the rose to Beautifly yet." May looked at him and smiled crazily.

"You and I both know this is not for Beautifly, and that it is for me." She said back teasingly. Drew flipped his hair.

"Well look who gained a few brain cells." May stuck her tongue out at him, and they laughed lightly together. May's face then looked deep thought and confused again as she looked at the rose again. Drew looked at her. "What?"

"Why roses?" May said cocking her head to the side. Drew looked at her. Then his face expression softened and he gingerly took the rose from her hand.

"Because red roses symbolize passion." May still looked confused and waited for him to explain. "The passion I saw in you as you performed made me want to give it to you." May smiled at him.

"Thank you." She whispered. Drew looked at her and smiled.

"I wasn't done." May looked at him again. "Roses are my favorite flower, just as you are my favorite rival and friend to talk to." May looked at him happy and slightly amused.

"Thank you…..again." May said. Drew looked at her in false anger. May looked at him. "Your still not done?!" May said falsely annoyed and shocked. Drew shook his head.

"I also give you roses because I love you." May looked was really shocked now, but still happy. Drew reached over and kissed her. May kissed back unable to believe what was happening. The kiss felt so good and magical. Drew ran a hand threw her hair, before placing the rose behind her ear. Drew pulled back and looked at her sapphire eyes. May looked back at his emerald ones. She bit her lip nervously, and kissed him again. But it was a quick peck. She wrapped her arms around him, while Drew looked surprised but hugged her back.

"I love you too." She whispered in his ear. Drew smiled and looked playfully cocky again.

"Who doesn't?" He said playfully. May giggled and smacked the back of his head lightly.

They then got up and walked hand in hand back to the Pokemon Center. Their were excited for what their new love had in stock for them.
