How time flew!
He could still remember when Alfred had been a child and had wanted to grow up to be like his father.
Now, he was a teenager and didn't want to be anywhere near Arthur, let alone grow up like him.
All Alfred seemed to want was to date girls and hang out with his friends.
He wanted popularity and a hot girlfriend.
Arthur sighed again as his son tried to sneak out again.
"Alfred, where do you think you are going?" Arthur grumbled.
"Anywhere but here. My friends are going out and being more awesome than you'll ever be!" Alfred shouted as he ran off.
This was exactly why Arthur needed help.
He missed his wife as she had died when Alfred had been quite young, and she had been the only one that could calm down Alfred's wild side.
'Alice, where are you? Did you finally get to Heaven like you wanted to?' Arthur wondered despite this, they had fought like cats and dogs when they had been together.
Alice had been his one lady while he had been her true gentleman despite all of the fighting.
He reached for the phone, "Lucia, are you free this evening?" Arthur asked one of his best friends.
"Mathias wants to go out. I can't this evening." Lucia answered; Mathias is her husband of many years.
"Alright."Arthur muttered.
"Alfred's causing you trouble again?" Lucia asked him, softly.
"He is. How's Emil?" Arthur asked her; Emil happened to be Lucia and Mathias's three year old son.
"He's fine and just as lively as ever." Lucia answered him.
Arthur nodded, "I hope that he isn't causing you trouble."
"You know how he can be, but he is a good kid." Lucia spoke up.
"I remember when Alfred was that young." Arthur answered in a delicate and reminiscent murmur.
"Call Vlad if you need a drinking buddy for the night." Lucia finished with the ease of her cool tone though it was not meant to be harsh at all.
Arthur called up his other best friend, and they spent the rest of the night drinking.
"This is why I go elsewhere during the weekends." Alfred grumbled as he had to take care of his father the next evening after Alfred had gotten home from school.
