A/N: A response to the Lyrics and Pairing Challenge. My prompt was Ron/Luna and "They say it changes when the sun goes down" (When the Sun Goes Down – Arctic Monkeys). I've never done this pairing before… so what do you think?
He didn't understand her. Doubted he ever would.
Yet he felt drawn to her. To her insanity, perhaps. Amidst this war, he needed a little break from reality, from darkness. When the sun went down, so many (he) cowered in the night, knowing, hating, fearing what hid in shadows where no stars existed.
So many (he) had forgotten how to love.
Luna… she was different. With her, there wasn't night. She seemed to live eternally on the horizon – somehow light without sun; somehow believing, dreaming, hoping despite knowing.
With Luna, sunset changed nothing. With starry eyes, she reminded him again.
