"Please be my girlfriend. I vow to protect you with my life." I smiled at her, hoping she'd say yes.

I saw her face turn slightly blue.

"Definitely…not."

I felt disheartened.

"Why?" I asked, feeling the rejection.

"Because you're a weirdo." She said to me.

"Ohhh." I whined in disappointment.
