Renesme POV
"Renesme" yelled my mother from across the stream she was standing out front of the cottage with my father i could just see them glittering in the morning sun.
I looked at jacob sprawled across the ground how i love wrestling with him "gotta go jake !" i yelled while i run at full speed jumping over the stream closing the distance in a second.
"yes mum?" i said not even breathless from my sprint
"your father and i brought you something for you birthday" she said with a smile "follow us" said dad as they both sprinted off in the direction of the house were the rest of my family lived we all headed into the back door meeting the family in the living room aunty alice had changed the
house already for my birthday party that night " wow aunty Alice this is amazing i love the dance floor!" i said gobsmacked at how the room looked like the inside of a night club
she giggled "thanks nessie you know how i love planning social events" that i did from the stories my mother and father told me.
I walked up to aunty Alice touching her face showing how much gratitude i had for her, she smiled
dad walked up behind me taking my hand "come on nessie time to show you, your birthday present" I smiled and wave to my family as my father and mother took me out the front door
And out to the garage I saw in the corner just past the Volvo something hidden underneath a red sheet.
You got to be kidding me it can't be the black Ferrari I wanted! I herd dad laugh and saw mum look at him questionly I looked at them both "can I ?" i said running to the car before they could answer they were right behind me in a flash "go ahead" mum said smiling i pulled the sheet off revealing my black beauty i laughed hah can't wait to show jake this he is so going to hate me i herd dad laugh loudly "yes indeed he will".
"can i take it for a test drive?" i asked basically pleading mum and dad looked at eachother "ok but don't drive to fast" mum said worriedly "yeah don't forget you grandpa is out on watch today" said dad "oh yeah, but you know i wouldn't drive really fast anyway dad" hey i don't think 150km is fast i thought to my self smiling dad gave me a stern look ok ok i won't go fast his face smoothed out
i jumped in the car and turned it over a perfect purr i smiled and waved at my parents and i drove out of the drive way towards the highway once i was out of hearing distance i put my pedal to the metal so to speak even if pop pulled me over he would only give me a lecture i thought to my self while swerving in and out of mild traffic to the left of me the forrest started blur the adrenaline was pumping through my veins i didn't care were i was heading out the corner of my eye i saw something dark in the forrest keeping up with me my heart started pumping i coudn't make out the shape or what they were doing just that they were moving as fast as i was i pushed my foot futher to the ground making the car speed up and looked in to the blur of the forrest seeing that the dark shape was keeping up oh shit
