He left her at their doorstep, crying her life away
She left him at the club, throwing his car keys away
He said he loved her, that he'd soon be back
She said she hated him, and wouldn't ever be back
He left their house in the early morning light
She walked home following the streetlight
He got in his car and started the engine
She went in a drag race and revved up the engine
He drove down town and off in the distance
She crashed her car and had to walk back the distance
His heart was pounding, he was all but excited
She was slowly drying and no longer excited
He boarded his plane, his life before his eyes
She slowly collapsed, headlights shining in her eyes
His plane soon crashed with everyone on board drying
She was rushed to hospital, to find she was no longer dying
His wife was contacted and told the news
She went home and watch the news
His wife broke down, hysterical about it all
She turned off the TV, sick of it all
