Chapter 1: Moving In
"Finally! That's all of the boxes!" I say, relaxing back into the old couch I had brought from my parent's house into the new apartment, only because my father obliged.
I sigh softly, looking up at the recently refurbished roof. It's sleek, white paintjob amazed me. Such an old building, with it's wear from standing for so long, could all look brand new with just a few coatings of paint.
"U-Um.. Hello..?" a small, but shy voice calls from the open doorway. I sit up immediately, and to my surprise, see an average height, young girl with ice white hair and calm blue eyes.
"Oh, hello!" I smile and walk over to her, greeting her. "Hi! My name is Sage!" I say, cheerfully holding my hand out as the girl shyfully shakes my hand, unable to maintain eye contact.
"U-Um... H-Hi... I'm Sari..." She says, shyly blushing and looking away. "I'm l-live next door to you.. I thought it be n-nice if I said hi.." She says, smiling a little.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Sari." I say, smiling as she looks around the place. I take notion to how pale she is. "J-Just moved in, eh..?" She says, stepping inside and walking around.
"Yeah. I just got everything in." I say, standing beside her. "Well, a-anyway... I gotta go..." She says, before speeding away as I hear the door slam to the apartment next to me.
"Wow. What a strange girl." I say, smiling as I begin to unbox everything.
