Chapter 1: Thoughts and Departure Letters
Harry potter was in his room yet again pacing for the fourth night in a row since his return to Privet Drive. His trunk was barely unpacked since he figured that he would only be with the Dursley for a week. He had waited his whole for that happy moment were he would never have to see them again, but now he didn't care weather he stayed on left anymore because he knew that once he left the Dursley his real journey out into the real world would begin. The journey, the tasked that he was destined for, the task he would have to bare alone, that very task he was thinking about since the day Dumbledore had died, destroying the last four horcruxes. Over and over in his mind he kept saying the locket, the cup, the snake ,something of Griffindor's, something or Ravenclaw's. But he had no idea when, where ,or how he would began his search. The only thing he did know was that Ron and Hermione would accompany him on whatever he had planed.
His thoughts were soon interrupted when a tap that occurred on his window. It was Ron's owl Pigwidgeon hooting happily as he flew into Harry's window with a scroll of parchment tied to its leg. "From Ron pig" said Harry rubbing the owls beak in an affectionate way as he un tied the the scroll from the owls leg and began to read:
Hey ,Harry
my mum says that we can come and get you Thursday for Bill and Fleur's. Believe me when I say that's it's a mad house here flowers and birds all over the place . I'm surprise mum hasn't gone mental yet. Well make sure that you are ready to leave at noon Thursday so that my Dad, Hermione and me can come get you.
See you Thursday at noon
Ron
P.S. Ginny says hi, she seems a bit down lately hardly saying a word to anyone, keeping to herself and not eating as much. Well that will change once she see you.
Harry reread the letter three times before realizing that Thursday noon was tomorrow. He would be leaving Privet drive for good tomorrow. A huge grin began to creep up on harry's face "no more Dursleys" he said out loud, but as soon as the grin appeared it disappeared with a quickness . "Ginny" he gasped . He would be seeing Ginny for the first time since their silent brake up at Dumbledore's funeral. He hadn't told Ron or Hermione about the brake up yet and by the looks of it she had not told them either. Did that mean she was too angry at him and to embarrassed to even tell Ron or Hermione? Or was she trying to plan a way for him to admit that he was wrong and that he should take her back before anyone knew that they had in fact broken up? Not that he did not want her back, in fact he wondered weather he had done the right thing. Truth be told he missed everything about her to her flaming red hair to the way she conjured her famous bat-bogey hex. Either way he stilled missed her, but constantly he kept saying to himself that he was only trying to keep herself and she would thank him in the end once they were back together and Voldemort vanquished. With that said he took a scrap of parchment and a quill and began to write
Dear Ron,
please tell Mrs. Weasley, thank you for inviting me to the wedding. I will make sure I am ready at noon.
Harry
He rolled up his parchment and tied the note to the owl's leg. He watch as pig flew out the window and into the night along with his thoughts of Ginny and the wedding.
