Lily has a tiny model of the golden gate bridge on her dresser, she feels like she needs to keep it there to remind her of her stupid mistake and to stop her ever doing something like that again.

Marshall hates that model, in fact he hates San Francisco, there are even some days he hates art because if it weren't for art she never would have left.

Lily doesn't really like her brown hair, but Marshall seems to like it so she keeps it that way for him.

Marshall doesn't like Lily's brown hair but she seems to like it so he pretends.

As much as Lily can appreciate Star Wars for the film classic it is (the original trilogy of course), she really can't appreciate it more than twice a year, if she watches it too often she gets bored and goes to her happy place.

As much as Marshall loves Star Wars (the original trilogy) he loves watching it with Lily more, she gets this glazed over happy look, and she gasps and laughs and cries in all the right places.

The first time Lily ever paused an argument it was over what to watch during sweeps week. Marshall was so anal about it he even unplugged the cable and the antenna just to make sure no one would cheat. This was inconvenient for Ted but Lily found it adorable.

The first time Marshall ever paused an argument it was over the Nessy (The Loch Ness...Creature), he was so frustrated with her that he almost put a fist through the wall. He left and brought home some articles and books on the subject, Lily conceded but he thinks Ted might have spoken to her.

Sometimes Lily deliberately mixes up affect and effect because dirty, grammar-Nazi Marshall is hot.

Sometimes Marshall wakes Lily up by kissing her all over her face because the sound she makes is a huge turn on. These wakings-up almost always lead to a morning quickie, no one's complaining.
