The Legend of Zelda: The Crystal Heart

Centuries have passed since the Twilight pulled back from the land of Hyrule. Peace reigns, but a king's paranoia sets forth a bold campaign that challenges deep-set traditions and sets his daughter off on her quest. Pulled alongside her and into trouble is a new "friend", an unnamed boy running from superstitions in the day and terrors at night.

Thank you for taking interest in my tale! It's been burbling around in my head for over a year, and I'm happy to finally start getting it out to the world.

Some notes to bear in mind before your adventure:

* I haven't used FF.n since dinosaurs roamed the world (you know, back when the site had a section for non-fanfiction). I'm doing my best to learn the format, and if you have advice, please feel free to kindly share it with me.

* This story is presently not published with prior beta review. Being new, I'm tentative to reach out. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to me!

* I will update this section and the summary space with characters and notes as they appear and as needed.

* I have played Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, though it's been a little while.

* I have not played Twilight Princess nor Skyward Sword. I'm doing my best to research this information (e.g., reading wikis, watching YouTube videos, and asking friends who have played) as it pertains to the story, but mistakes could happen. Please feel free to let me know privately if something is off.

And a few tweaks to the compass to help guide your way:

* This is set during the Child Timeline.

* Just like other games, Hyrule has shifted and major landmarks have moved about the map ('cause magic kingdom do what it want). I hope to have a map link in the future. For reference, I am basing the orientation on a mixture of geography Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

* I am not taking Four Swords into account. I'm sure it's a great game, but for this, I already have a lot of 'unknown variables', so I'm sticking to the console games.
